Caliper render for this kit:

The Honda Odyssey RC1 is not a small vehicle. It is a front-wheel-drive MPV tipping the scales north of 1,700 kg, and its factory front brakes reflect that design brief: adequate for a family carrier, no more. When that same car becomes a grey-import build, a JDM van that gets used the way its owner actually drives, the front-axle load under repeated deceleration exposes exactly where the OEM hardware runs short.
This XYZ Racing front brake kit addresses that gap directly. Two-piece floating discs dissipate heat more efficiently than the RC1’s factory discs, and three pad compounds mean the system can be specified to match the genuine use case rather than the conservative factory default.
What this brake kit does for your 2014-2026 Honda ODYSSEY RC1
On a front-wheel-drive vehicle of this mass, the front brakes carry a disproportionate share of the work. Under hard or sustained deceleration, brake fade is a real possibility with the stock RC1 setup; the two-piece floating discs open cooling pathways the standard discs simply lack, maintaining pad bite where the factory item would begin to waver. Pad compound choice allows the installation to be matched to actual use. The Street compound delivers improved feel and quiet, low-dust modulation on road without a specialist bedding-in procedure, the Sport compound suits the driver who mixes daily use with occasional hard driving, and the Racing compound handles sustained high-temperature demands without trading away pedal consistency. Caliper colour is set when you order, with Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black included at no extra cost to integrate cleanly with the wider build aesthetic.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The two-piece floating disc design sits at the core of this kit, an arrangement engineered to shift heat away from the friction surface more aggressively than a standard vented or solid replacement. The caliper is a hollow-body forging as standard, paired with braided lines. This matters particularly on a vehicle of the Odyssey RC1’s weight, where brake loads are sustained rather than short-lived. Three pad grades are available when you order: Street, which improves on OEM feel on public roads with minimal break-in requirement; Sport, which suits mixed use where occasional hard driving is part of the picture; and Racing, for the owner who makes genuine demands of the front axle. For serious track use the optional Hollow Racing caliper deletes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized finish in five colours or to titanium, and beyond the included caliper colours you can specify a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) or candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange).
Fitment for the Honda ODYSSEY RC1 (2014-2026)
Listed for the Honda Odyssey RC1 chassis across the 2014 to 2026 model year span, this front brake kit covers the RC1, the front-wheel-drive derivative of the fifth-generation JDM Odyssey, distinct from the four-wheel-drive RC2 variant. Verify your chassis code and drivetrain configuration before ordering to confirm the correct front-axle fitment.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
