Caliper render for this kit:

The Kuga MK3 AWD carries close to 1.7 tonnes of crossover high and well aft of the front axle, and on a long descent or with the boot loaded for a family trip the factory rear discs are the first component to cry off. This XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Ford KUGA MK3 AWD answers exactly that: more rear thermal capacity, a larger swept area, and a two-piece floating disc that adds braking without piling on unsprung mass.
It is built for owners who actually work the car, towing, motorway miles two-up with luggage, the occasional spirited B-road, rather than for show. The rear axle on the multi-link AWD cars does real work under braking, and discs that shrug off heat keep the pedal consistent where a standard setup would already be going soft.
What this big brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Ford KUGA MK3 AWD (Rr Multi-Link Suspension) (TYPE II)
The first thing you feel after fitting is a firmer pedal that does not sink as the discs warm through. The hollow-vane disc sheds heat faster than the solid OEM rear rotor, so repeat heavy stops, an Alpine descent, or hauling a trailer down a motorway slip, no longer drive the rear into fade. Because the rotor carries internal vanes rather than a solid friction mass, you gain stopping power without loading the rear hubs with extra rotating weight, which keeps the multi-link rear settled over mid-corner bumps. Pad choice runs from a quiet, low-dust Street compound through a Sport pad for fast-road use to a full Racing compound for the track, so bite and noise match how the car is driven. The Kuga stops square and predictable instead of nose-diving and washing into understeer.
About the Rear Brake Kit
The XYZ Racing rear brake kit pairs an oversized two-piece floating disc with a fixed alloy caliper, supplied as a matched pair sized for the rear axle of the Kuga MK3. The engineering point is the disc: instead of a solid friction ring, the casting carries internal hollow vanes that cut weight and open extra paths for heat to escape, so the disc runs cooler and resists warping under sustained load. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price. The caliper clamps a larger pad against a bigger swept area than the standard rear setup, raising both outright torque and the thermal ceiling before fade arrives. The hollow-body caliper is standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds are offered: Street for quiet, low-dust daily refinement, Sport for fast-road bite, and Racing for track-day heat. Included painted finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a custom Pantone colour at £150, plus premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. It bolts to the rear corners and works with the existing AWD multi-link geometry.
Fitment for the Ford KUGA MK3 AWD (Rr Multi-Link Suspension) (TYPE II) (2019-2026)
This kit is cut for the Ford KUGA MK3 AWD running the rear multi-link suspension (TYPE II), across model years 2019 to 2026. It is the rear-axle kit, supplied as a pair, suited to the all-wheel-drive cars with independent multi-link rather than the simpler beam axle. Confirm your chassis matches the multi-link AWD description before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
