Caliper render for this kit:

On the twist-beam Focus MK4, the rear axle is the end most owners forget when they start chasing pace. Ford specced this Type I car with a torsion-beam rear and modest single-piston rear calipers, fine for the commute, quick to overheat on a circuit or a long B-road descent. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit goes straight at that weakness, adding disc area and thermal mass where the standard setup runs out of headroom.
This is a rear-axle upgrade supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, so its job is balance as much as outright stopping power. With more capacity at the back, the front pads stop shouldering the whole car, fade arrives later, and the pedal stays consistent through repeated heavy stops. Pad compound runs across three options, so the same kit suits a daily 1.0 EcoBoost or a hard-driven ST-Line.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Ford Focus MK4
The hollow-vane disc strips rotating and unsprung mass from the rear corners, which a twist-beam car reads as a quicker, more settled rear under trail braking. On the road you get a firmer, more reassuring pedal and far less fade on a loaded downhill run. On track, the larger disc and Racing compound hold their bite through a full session rather than going soft after three or four hard laps, while Sport lifts the working window for spirited road use and Street keeps things quiet day to day. A full menu of caliper finishes, including custom Pantone, means the upgrade shows through the wheel spokes as clearly as it works behind them.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a bolt-on rear big brake kit rather than a track-only special, which is why it carries three pad compounds. The hollow-vane, weight-reduced rotor is central: it sheds heat faster and brings the thermal mass a small standard rear disc simply does not have. The disc is a two-piece floating design, offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, clamped by a caliper that is hollow-body as standard; for repeated circuit stops you can specify the optional Hollow Racing upgrade, which runs without a dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The Street compound stays quiet and low-dust for a car still doing daily miles; Sport lifts the working temperature window for spirited road driving; the Racing compound is there for repeated circuit stops where the factory rear brakes would cook. Painted calipers come in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium. Caliper, disc and pads arrive matched as a set for the twist-beam Focus MK4, so there is no guesswork pairing parts across brands.
Fitment for the Ford Focus MK4 (2019-2026)
This kit is cut for the MK4 Ford Focus running the Type I twist-beam rear axle, covering the 2019 to 2026 model years. Confirm your car uses the torsion-beam rear rather than the independent multilink found on some higher trims before ordering, since the bracket and disc sizing are specific to this axle.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
