Caliper render for this kit:

The MK4 Focus arrived with a split personality at the rear axle: cooking-spec cars made do with a torsion beam, while the independent multi-link setup in this Type I fitment gives each rear wheel its own travel. That independence is exactly what makes a rear brake upgrade worth doing, since the discs can be loaded harder under trail-braking without the axle skipping or stepping out of line.
This XYZ Racing Hollow rear brake kit for the Ford Focus MK4 (2019-2026) adds rear stopping power and heat capacity for fast-road and circuit use. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, with three pad compounds and a full range of caliper finishes, it is specified to match how hard you actually drive the car rather than forcing a single rear setup on everyone.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Ford Focus MK4 (Rr Multi-Link Suspension)(TYPE I)
On a front-driven hatch the rear axle carries less of the braking load, but on the multi-link MK4 that rear contribution matters more than most owners expect; it settles the car into the corner and keeps the nose from running wide. A larger rear disc and a stiffer caliper lift the heat ceiling, so brake feel stays consistent through repeated stops on track or down a quick B-road descent. The Racing pad compound bites harder from heat and resists fade, Sport suits hard fast-road work, and the Street compound keeps dust and noise sensible for daily driving. Pedal travel firms up, and the rear end stays composed when you brake deep and turn in.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The XYZ Racing Hollow rear brake kit is a bolt-on big brake upgrade for the rear axle, pairing an uprated two-piece floating disc with a performance caliper sized for the MK4 Focus rear hubs. The disc is offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, and the caliper is hollow-body as standard; for circuit days you can specify the optional Hollow Racing upgrade, which runs without a dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. It is offered with three pad choices, Street for road use, Sport for harder fast-road work, and a Racing compound for circuit days, so the same hardware covers everything from the commute to lapping. Painted caliper finishes run from Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost through to any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium, letting the rear calipers match or contrast the wheels. As a rear kit it is designed to work alongside a front upgrade, or to restore brake balance once the fronts have already been improved. The priority here is heat management and consistent rear bite rather than raw initial stopping force, which suits the lighter-loaded rear axle of a front-engined hatch.
Fitment for the Ford FOCUS MK4 (Rr Multi-Link Suspension)(TYPE I) (2019-2026)
This kit is specified for the Ford Focus MK4 running the independent multi-link rear suspension, the Type I rear configuration, across the 2019 to 2026 model years. Confirm your car uses the multi-link rear rather than the torsion-beam axle before ordering, as the two share a model name but not the same rear hardware.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
