Caliper render for this kit:

The 458’s mid-engine layout sits the 4.5-litre V8 behind the cabin, throwing the weight balance rearward and asking the back axle to carry more braking load than any front-engined car would. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Ferrari F458 / F458 Spider answers that with a steel big brake setup built around hollow-vane discs, trimming rotating mass at the rear where this chassis keeps its weight.
Most 458s left Maranello on carbon-ceramic brakes, and anyone who has tracked one knows exactly what a fresh set of CCM discs costs. This rear kit is the circuit-sensible alternative: a matched pair of serviceable steel calipers and discs you can run hard, reface and replace without the carbon-ceramic invoice. Pad compound runs across three options, so the rear end can be matched to road driving or repeat track sessions.
What this rear brake kit does for your 2010-2015 Ferrari F458 / F458 Spider
On a car that revs past 9,000rpm and carries its engine over the rear axle, rear brake consistency is what keeps the 458 settled on corner entry. The hollow-vane disc design cuts rotating and unsprung mass at the back, sharpening response and easing the load on the rear hubs. Three pad compounds let you set the bite to the job: Street for road manners, Sport for spirited fast-road work, and Racing for heat-soaked laps where fade is the enemy. Run the rear kit with matched fronts and you recover braking confidence on a platform that punishes a soft rear end. The pedal firms up, the balance becomes predictable, and the brakes are ones you can actually afford to consume.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear-axle big brake kit specifically for the F458 platform, with the hollow-vane rotor as its defining feature, a lightened, vented two-piece floating disc that sheds rotating mass without surrendering the thermal headroom a mid-engine Ferrari needs under repeated heavy braking. The disc is offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, while a hollow-body caliper handles the clamping load at the rear corners. The caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty) for owners running sustained circuit sessions. The kit ships with a choice of three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware covers everything from road use to circuit duty simply by selecting the friction material. Painted calipers come in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium to match the car. It is a bolt-on rear package aimed at owners who want repeatable, serviceable braking they can maintain themselves, rather than a single sealed factory item.
Fitment for the Ferrari F458 / F458 Spider (2010-2015)
This is the rear-axle fitment for the Ferrari F458 and F458 Spider built between 2010 and 2015, covering both the coupe and the folding-hardtop Spider across that production run. It addresses the rear corners only, so specify matched front hardware if you are converting the whole car.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
