Caliper render for this kit:

The Crossfire borrowed its running gear from the first-generation Mercedes SLK, which means a rear-drive chassis that rewards a balanced brake setup far more than its grand-tourer styling suggests. Out of the box the rear discs were sized for relaxed cruising, and they are the first thing to fade when an owner starts using the car the way its layout invites. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Chrysler Crossfire swaps them for a larger, two-piece vented rotor and a fixed multi-piston caliper, restoring proper bite and heat capacity to the back axle, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair.
On a short-wheelbase rear-driver like this, rear brake performance is what keeps the car settled under trail-braking and on quick road descents. This kit gives the rear axle the thermal headroom to run harder pads without the back end going wooden after a few firm stops, and it comes with three pad compounds and a full range of caliper finishes so the spec follows how you actually drive.
What this brake kit does for your 2003-2007 Chrysler Crossfire
Fitted to the rear of a Chrysler Crossfire, the larger vented rotor pulls heat away faster, so pedal feel stays consistent through repeated braking instead of softening as the standard discs heat-soak. The fixed multi-piston caliper clamps more evenly than the sliding original, which sharpens modulation right at the point where you are bleeding off speed into a corner. Pick the Street compound for quiet, low-dust road use, Sport for harder fast-road work and the occasional track day, or Racing for circuit days, and the rear balance shifts to suit, especially when the rear compound is matched to the front. Painted caliper colours, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, let the kit read as a deliberate upgrade behind the wheels rather than an afterthought.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from its hollow-vane disc, a two-piece floating rotor that cores material out of the braking ring to trim rotating and unsprung mass at the rear axle while opening up surface area for cooling, with a floating bell that lets the ring expand under heat without distorting. The vented disc and fixed caliper are matched as a system, so clamping force and heat dissipation are sized to each other rather than bolted on piecemeal. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, cover everything from quiet, low-dust daily commuting to repeated track laps, letting you tune rear bite to the front setup. Painted calipers are offered in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black, with premium polished-forged and candy options and a custom Pantone choice for owners colour-matching to bodywork or wheels, while discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, braided lines are included, and the centre bell can be upgraded to a two-tone anodized colour or titanium. It is a bolt-on rear brake kit built to lift a road car’s back-axle braking to a level the Crossfire’s rear-drive chassis can put to use.
Fitment for the Chrysler Crossfire (2003-2007)
This kit is built for the rear axle of the Chrysler Crossfire across the 2003 to 2007 model run, on the Mercedes-derived platform the car shares with the first-generation SLK, as a left-and-right pair. Confirm your year against the 2003-2007 span before configuring, then choose pad compound and caliper colour to finish the spec.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
