Caliper render for this kit:

Hauling 1,900-odd kilograms of E66 long-wheelbase luxury down from motorway speeds is not a job the standard 745’s factory braking setup was architected to repeat enthusiastically. At 70 mph and beyond, which the N62 V8’s 333 bhp makes entirely routine, the front axle carries a disproportionate share of stopping duty, and repeated hard applications expose the limits of OEM rotor mass and compound. The XYZ Racing Hollow front brake kit addresses that directly.
This is a single-axle front kit: a matched pair of front calipers and two-piece floating front discs for the left and right corners. Pad compound options run Street, Sport and Racing, so the same kit serves drivers using the 7 Series as a rapid long-distance express and those pressing one harder through hill passes or occasional circuit days where the factory setup would begin to fade.
What this brake kit does for your 2002-2006 Bmw 7 SERIES E 66 745
The E66 745’s front axle carries the full penalty of that long-wheelbase platform and V8 installation: heavier braking loads, higher heat generation cycle by cycle, and a chassis composed enough to mask fade until stopping distances start to lengthen noticeably. The hollow-vane disc construction improves heat dissipation through the rotor body itself, drawing temperatures down before the compound operates outside its effective window, while the two-piece floating disc expands cleanly under load to keep the friction face flat. Brake balance loads the front axle hardest under heavy deceleration, which is exactly where this kit concentrates its extra capacity. The three pad grades let owners match the system to actual usage without specifying a track compound for daily motorway work or a road pad for a demanding weekend: Street for quiet, low-dust road use, Sport for fast-road driving with the odd lap, and Racing for circuit sessions. Shedding rotating and unsprung mass at the front sharpens turn-in and pedal response on top of the thermal gain.
About the Hollow Front Brake Kit
The XYZ Racing Hollow front brake kit ventilates more efficiently than a conventional vented disc by routing airflow through the internal disc body rather than relying solely on surface-level cooling. On a car operating within the E66 745’s mass and performance envelope this matters, because the front rotors manage significantly more kinetic energy at speed than they would on a lighter executive saloon, and fade on extended alpine descents or repeated motorway emergency stops is a genuine operational concern rather than a track-only edge case. The caliper body is hollow-cast as standard for stiffness without the weight, and a Hollow Racing caliper option, with no dust cover, a 1000C rating and a two-year warranty, is available for serious track use. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, give a calibrated progression from refined everyday bite to higher-temperature grip. Included painted caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost; a Custom Color in any Pantone is £150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange also offered. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre bells can be two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium.
Fitment for the Bmw 7 SERIES E 66 745 (2002-2006)
This kit is confirmed for the BMW 7 Series E66 745, covering model years 2002 to 2006. The E66 chassis designation specifies the long-wheelbase body variant of this generation; owners of the equivalent short-wheelbase E65 should verify their chassis code before selecting. Pad compound, disc style and caliper colour are chosen when you order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
