Caliper render for this kit:

This XYZ Racing front big brake kit for the BMW 7 Series E66 735 addresses one of the more easily overlooked demands of this generation: a kerb weight approaching two tonnes, where the factory front setup was sized for grand-touring comfort rather than sustained hard deceleration. Behind the long-wheelbase rear cabin sits a substantial rear-wheel-drive saloon that puts serious thermal load through its front brakes whenever it is driven with intent. The kit fits as a matched pair of front calipers and discs.
The E66 designation marks the stretched-body variant, heavier still than the already considerable standard-wheelbase E65, and it is the front axle that bears the greatest share of braking force under hard stops, a consequence of weight transfer that no amount of chassis electronics fully neutralises. The three pad compounds reflect how E66 735s actually live in 2026: some are used occasionally hard on fast A-roads, others appear at track days where the platform’s power and rear-wheel drive make for an engaging but demanding entry.
What this brake kit does for your 2002-2003 Bmw 7 Series E 66 735
Fitting the kit at the front axle replaces the original hardware with a setup built to absorb the thermal load generated when a car of this weight sheds speed repeatedly. The two-piece floating disc with its hollow-vane rotor reduces unsprung mass compared to solid-face units and increases ventilation across the disc, which matters directly on the E66 where the front axle manages both the car’s weight bias and forward weight transfer under braking. Reduced rotating mass keeps the brake balance steady.
Racing raises fade resistance markedly across consecutive hard stops. Sport delivers a firmer, more immediate pedal than ageing standard E65/E66 pads, with a higher heat range. Street is the quiet, low-dust default for daily use. Caliper colours start with the no-cost painted options of Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, and Anodized Black. A Custom Color in any Pantone is £150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold, and Polished Silver, or candy Teal, Blue, Red, and Orange, reading cleanly through the larger alloys the E66 typically runs.
About the Hollow Big Brake Kit
The two-piece floating disc, available drilled or slotted at the same price, reduces disc weight and increases turbulent airflow across the braking surface under load. Braided lines come as part of the package for a firm pedal under heat. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C, and carries a two-year warranty. Centre bell upgrades are available two-tone in five anodized colours or in titanium. Three compounds cover everything from daily use through repeated circuit stops, and the kit is a direct-fit replacement for the E66 735’s front suspension, requiring no fabrication or adapter plates. The hollow-vane rotor design addresses exactly the unsprung weight and heat management challenges a 2002-2003 long-wheelbase executive saloon makes on its braking hardware. Compound and colour are selected when you order.
Fitment for the Bmw 7 Series E 66 735 (2002-2003)
This front big brake kit is confirmed for the BMW 7 Series E66 735, covering the 2002 to 2003 production window. The E66 is the long-wheelbase variant of the E65-generation 7 Series, and this fitment applies to that specific body. If your car sits outside these model years, separate listings cover the broader E65 and E66 production range.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 286–380mm (front). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
