Caliper render for this kit:

The E66 730’s long-wheelbase mass puts real thermal load through the rear axle, and that is exactly where the XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit earns its place on a 2004-2008 Bmw 7 Series E 66 730 (euro spec). A car this size carries its weight high and long, so the rear brakes do more than trim balance, they manage heat on repeated stops down a fast B-road or a motorway slip road after a long cruise.
The kit replaces the standard rear setup with hollow-vane two-piece discs and a fixed caliper sized for the chassis. The hollow-vane construction sheds rotating and unsprung mass at each rear corner, sharpening how the back axle settles under braking without asking the car’s self-levelling rear to fight extra weight.
What this brake kit does for your 2004-2008 Bmw 7 SERIES E 66 730 (EURO SPEC)
After fitting, the first thing you notice is pedal consistency. The hollow-vane discs warm and dump heat faster than tired factory items, and the two-piece floating design lets each disc expand without warping, so the third and fourth stop feel like the first. Pick the Racing pad compound and you get bite that holds when the rear axle is loaded; the Sport compound widens the heat range for fast-road and occasional track use, while the Street compound keeps things quiet and dust-light for a 7 Series still doing executive miles. Because mass comes off the rotating assembly, the rear suspension reacts more cleanly to mid-corner inputs, and the heavy E66 feels less like it is shrugging its weight rearward as you brake into a roundabout. Caliper colour is yours to set behind the spokes.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit is built around a two-piece disc whose internal vanes are hollowed to cut rotating mass while keeping the full swept face that does the actual stopping. It pairs that disc with a multi-piston fixed caliper, replacing the sliding-pin arrangement that lets factory rears drag and heat unevenly, and ships as a matched left-and-right rear pair with braided lines and chassis-specific brackets. Three pad compounds cover how these cars actually get used: Street for quiet, low-dust road duty, Sport for harder fast-road work with more initial bite and a wider heat range, and Racing for sustained track or hard-driven sessions where heat is the enemy. The caliper is a hollow-body unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing version rated to 1000C and a two-year warranty for serious circuit use. Included painted finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged and candy options above that. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells are selectable. Everything is a direct rear-axle fit for the listed chassis, with no change to the car’s existing rear suspension geometry.
Fitment for the Bmw 7 SERIES E 66 730 (EURO SPEC) (2004-2008)
This kit is specified for the Bmw 7 Series E 66 730 in euro-spec form, across the 2004 to 2008 model years. The E66 designation is the long-wheelbase body, so confirm your chassis code before ordering rather than reading from the badge alone. It is a rear-axle kit; pair it with the matching front big brake kit if you want balanced uprated stopping front to rear.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
