Caliper render for this kit:

The F 10 535 carries the better part of 1.7 tonnes with the long-legged ease of BMW’s N55 straight-six, and that combination is exactly what makes the rear axle worth attention. On a rear-drive executive saloon this size, the back brakes do quieter but critical work – settling the car under trail braking, holding the line into a long downhill corner, and sharing load the fronts cannot carry alone.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Bmw 5 Series F 10 535 goes after that rear-axle deficit directly. A pair of left and right rear calipers and two-piece floating discs trims rotating mass at the back wheels while adding thermal headroom, so the rear of the car stops shrinking from you when the pace climbs.
What this brake kit does for your 2010-2016 Bmw 5 Series F 10 535
Fit the kit and the first thing you feel is a firmer, more progressive rear bias under hard braking – the F 10 stays flatter and more settled as weight transfers forward, rather than getting light and nervous at the tail, with braided lines holding the bite. The extra thermal mass of the vented two-piece rotors holds off the fade that creeps into a heavy saloon after three or four hard stops down from motorway speed. Pad compound is your call: the Street option stays quiet and low on dust for daily use, the Sport compound bites harder for spirited road work and occasional track days, and the Racing compound is there for the days the F 10 sees a circuit and rear temperatures spike. Painted finishes from understated Black through Red, Yellow, Gold to Anodized Black come at no extra cost, letting the hardware suit the car behind the spokes.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit is built around two-piece floating discs: a friction ring lightened through its construction rather than left as a solid casting, carried on an alloy bell, shaving rotating and unsprung mass without giving up the swept area a heavy saloon needs. Less mass spinning at the rear wheels lets the suspension control the axle more precisely over poor surfaces, and the freed thermal capacity means the discs shed heat faster between stops. The kit pairs these rotors with uprated calipers – hollow-cast as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use that drops the dust cover for a 1000C rating and a two-year warranty – and a choice of three pad compounds, so one set of hardware covers a refined commuter, a fast B-road tool, or a track-day saloon. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, centre bells upgrade to two-tone anodized in five colours or to titanium, and beyond the included painted colours you can specify Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, or candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. It is a rear-specific kit, built to correct the front-biased balance a road car leaves on the table rather than to chase a single headline stopping figure. Everything is sized to the F 10’s rear hub and original mounting points, keeping the job a bolt-on rather than a fabrication exercise.
Fitment for the Bmw 5 Series F 10 535 (2010-2016)
This kit is cut for the rear axle of the Bmw 5 Series F 10 535 across the full 2010 to 2016 production span, covering the saloon through its mid-cycle update. It mounts to the factory rear hubs and uses the original caliper location, so no bracket fabrication is needed. Confirm your exact build year and trim against the options above before ordering to be sure of the match.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
