Caliper render for this kit:

The E92 320’s rear axle was never the corner BMW engineered hardest. The entry coupe left the factory with modest rear discs sized for a 2.0-litre daily, and they are the first part of the system to cook once you start leaning on the car. This XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the BMW 3 Series E92 320 rebuilds the back end of the braking package around a pair of bigger, lighter two-piece floating discs and a pair of uprated calipers.
Rear bias matters more on a rear-drive E9x than most owners expect: get the balance right and the car settles under trail braking instead of running wide as the front end takes all the load. This kit is aimed at fast-road and track-day E92 320 drivers who have already sorted the fronts and want the rear axle to keep pace rather than fade halfway through a session.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2011 BMW 3 Series E92 320
The lightweight disc design strips rotating and unsprung weight from each rear corner, which the E92 320 reads as a slightly keener turn-in and less work for the rear dampers over broken tarmac. The uprated caliper clamps the disc more evenly, so the pedal firms up and holds its bite as temperatures climb. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match the rear axle to how you actually use the car, from a quiet low-dust road pad through fast-road bite to a Racing compound that shrugs off repeat stops on a circuit. Because rear braking force is what steadies a rear-drive chassis into a corner, the larger rear setup gives you the confidence to brake later without the tail going light.
About the rear brake kit
The kit is built around two-piece floating discs cast with internal hollow vanes to cut rotating mass while keeping enough material to absorb braking heat across a session. The floating ring runs on the alloy bell and stays flat under load, resisting the warping a fixed solid rotor suffers when worked hard. It is a rear-axle kit, so it upgrades the back of the E92 320’s braking system rather than the fronts. Three pad compounds are offered, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a road car, a fast-road build or a track-day coupe. The caliper can be finished in painted Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with premium polished-forged, candy and Custom Pantone options for owners matching an existing front kit. Disc faces come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the caliper is hollow-cast as standard with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use. The aim is a bigger, lighter, more thermally stable rear brake than the standard 320 disc.
Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E92 320 (2007-2011)
This kit is specified for the BMW 3 Series E92 320 built between 2007 and 2011, the rear-wheel-drive coupe bodyshell of the E9x range, and fits the rear axle. Check your exact build year and the OE185 disc reference against your car before ordering, then pick your pad compound and caliper colour from the options.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
