Caliper render for this kit:

The Audi A3 8V Sportback in 2.0T front-drive form carries the bulk of its mass over the nose, so on a hard track day or a committed B-road run the rear axle is the first thing to go vague. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit attacks that directly, restoring bite and pedal consistency at the back of a chassis that was tuned to understeer straight out of the factory.
Think of this as the rear half of a balanced upgrade. The two-piece floating disc strips rotating and unsprung mass while opening up cooling paths, so the rear brakes shed heat between corners instead of glazing the pads. Pick your compound and the back of the car finally pulls its weight.
What this brake kit does for your 2013-2026 Audi A3 8V Sportback (2WD) 2.0T
On the road you will feel a firmer, more linear pedal and a rear axle that settles the car under trail braking rather than washing wide. The two-piece floating disc pulls rotating mass off each corner, sharpening turn-in and taking load off the front discs that otherwise do all the heavy lifting on this platform. Three pad compounds let you set the bite to how you actually drive: Street for daily running, Sport for spirited fast-road work, and Racing for repeat circuit sessions. Better rear heat management keeps the pedal where you left it after several hot laps, and braking confidence climbs with it. For a front-drive 2.0T A3, sorting the rear is the cheapest path to a more neutral, trustworthy car at the limit.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The rear brake kit is built around hollow-vane discs that cut rotating and unsprung mass without surrendering swept area. That is the whole logic of the design: less inertia for the hub to spin up and slow down, plus more surface for heat to escape, carried on a two-piece floating disc. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing build for the hardest track use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Pad material is a choice of Street, Sport or Racing compound, spanning refined town use to sustained track abuse. Included painted caliper colours are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, premium polished-forged finishes in Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver, and candy finishes in Teal, Blue, Red and Orange. As a rear-specific kit it is sized to complement the front brakes, not overpower them, keeping bias sensible so the 8V stays predictable under heavy braking, and it bolts to the existing rear hardware.
Fitment for the Audi A3 8V Sportback (2WD) 2.0T (2013-2026)
This kit is mapped to the Audi A3 8V Sportback in front-wheel-drive 2.0T form, covering the 2013 to 2026 production span. It fits the rear axle only and is intended to pair with a matching front setup or a sorted standard front. Confirm your exact 8V variant and rear hub spec before ordering, as trim and brake hardware shifted across this long model run.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
