XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Skoda SUPERB B8 SEDAN 4WD φ55 (Cancellation Kit for Electronic Damping) 2015-2026

A 4WD Skoda Superb B8 saloon carries close to 1.6 tonnes over a nose-heavy MQB platform, and getting that mass to load the rear axle in the first metre off the line is the entire problem a drag launch has to solve on a car this size. The factory answer is DCC electronic damping, tuned for ride comfort and motorway composure, not for transferring weight onto the driven wheels the instant the clutch or torque converter locks up.

XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing coilover kit for the Superb B8 replaces that adaptive damper logic entirely, and because this car runs electronic damping from the factory, it’s supplied with the cancellation kit needed to remove the DCC control signal so the fixed-rate coilover can do the job without the ECU fighting it. The result is a Superb set up specifically for 0-400m runs rather than B-road comfort.

What this coilover kit does for your 2015-2026 Skoda Superb B8

Launching a heavy 4WD saloon means managing how quickly load moves rearward without unsettling the Haldex system’s ability to split torque front to rear. This kit lets you set front and rear ride height and spring preload independently, so weight transfer at launch is deliberate rather than whatever the standard suspension happens to do under load. More downward force on the driven tyres at the moment of launch means more contact patch compression, which is what actually gets a car this heavy moving without wheelspin eating the first few tenths. Once rolling, the fixed damping keeps the platform settled through the run instead of the DCC system hunting between modes at speed. For a Superb B8 built to run the strip repeatedly, that consistency from launch to top end matters more than outright ride comfort.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing’s Drag Racing range is built around one job: 0-400m runs, and it’s offered across FWD, RWD and 4WD applications rather than being a generic trackday coilover pressed into drag duty. The core idea is adjustable weight bias – the kit lets you shift static loading between front and rear axles to suit which wheels are actually putting power down, which on the Superb B8’s 4WD layout means dialling in enough rear load to work with the Haldex system rather than against it. Loading the driven tyres harder at launch increases the contact patch compression that generates initial grip, which shortens the window where the wheels are spinning instead of gripping and directly improves 60-foot times. That same setup keeps the car composed at higher speeds through the run rather than the standard chassis’ comfort-biased geometry allowing the nose to float.

Fitment for the Skoda Superb B8 (2015-2026)

This kit is built for the Skoda Superb B8 Sedan, 4WD, Φ55 strut diameter, chassis code SK26-C, covering the 2015 to 2026 model years. Because these cars run electronic damping control as standard, the cancellation kit is required alongside the coilovers themselves – fitting the coilovers without it leaves the DCC module trying to command a damper that’s no longer there.

Spec your Superb B8’s front and rear settings for the strip and configure yours below.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
