XYZ Racing Gravel Rally Coilovers — Nissan TIIDA C12 (Modified Rear Integrated) 2011-2026

Gravel-stage rally punishes a damper like nothing else on the calendar. The XYZ Racing Gravel Rally coilover for the Nissan Tiida C12 is built around that reality – long stroke travel and an inverted tube layout that lets the shock body take the hit instead of the shaft, because on sandstone, snow or silt the rod is the first thing you lose if the geometry’s wrong.

For a Tiida running the modified rear-integrated rear end, ride height and compliance are already a compromise between road use and stage work. This kit is set up to let you stop compromising on the damper side of that equation, whatever surface the next event throws at the C12.

What this coilover brings to your build

Long-stroke travel means the Tiida’s suspension can keep working through compressions and crests that would top out a shorter-travel road coilover, so the chassis stays settled instead of skating over ruts. The long spring rate paired with that stroke absorbs chassis vibration from washboard gravel and high-speed bouncy sections without transmitting every hit straight into the body shell. Under hard cornering on loose surfaces the setup is built to bear the extreme G-force loading that comes with catching a slide, rather than folding or bottoming out mid-corner. Because the inverted tube design is engineered around varying road conditions, the same kit stays composed whether you’re running sand, snow-pack or silt rather than needing a re-spec for each surface.

About the Gravel Rally coilover

XYZ Racing developed this damper specifically for rally and rallycross use, built around the fact that gravel-stage road conditions are the most aggressive a shock absorber will see in any motorsport discipline. The inverted tube construction is a deliberate response to that – it changes how the damper handles side loading and debris strike compared with a conventional upright tube, which matters when a stage surface shifts from sandstone to snow to silt inside a single run. Stroke length and spring length are both extended over a road-biased coilover, giving the damper room to absorb chassis vibration and cope with high-speed bouncy terrain without running out of travel. That extra length also matters when the car is loaded up under cornering G, where a shorter unit would be more prone to topping or bottoming. XYZ’s spring rate settings for this range were tested by an active rally racing team, so the baseline rates reflect what has actually worked on gravel stages rather than a road-car interpolation.

Fitment for the Nissan Tiida (2011-2026)

This kit is specified for the Nissan Tiida C12, chassis code NI53-2, covering the 2011 to 2026 model range with the modified rear-integrated rear end. Confirm your Tiida matches this rear-end configuration before ordering, as XYZ Racing lists separate kits for the standard C12 rear layout.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. In all racing events, road condition of Rally Cross is the most aggressive one. Hence, it means that the shock absorber is the most important utensil during the Rally gravel competition. We develop inverted tube design to meet each different road condition as sandstone, snow or silt. Long stroke and long spring which enable to absorb chassis vibration, aggressively attack from high speed bouncy road and bear extremely G-force when turning. All spring rate setting are tested by Rally Racing team.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
