XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz E CLASS COUPE C207 6 CYL 2009-2017

The C207 E-Class Coupe carries its weight low and rearward for a big coupe, but the standard suspension is tuned for motorway comfort, not for holding a controlled angle at speed. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around a different brief entirely: stabilising the body through high-speed direction changes so the car holds its line and its angle instead of fighting the driver.

For a six-cylinder C207 pressed into competitive drifting, that stability comes from controlling body movement at the exact moment load transfers hardest – into the turn, mid-slide, and on the transition out. This is a track and drift-specific setup, not a fast-road compromise, and it treats the E-Class Coupe’s mass as something to manage precisely rather than soften.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2017 Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe

Dropping the ride height with correct bump stroke changes how the C207 loads its outside tyre through a slide, and that’s where this kit does its work. The 3-way adjustment knobs let you set compression and rebound to match the car’s weight transfer once the body is lower and stiffer, rather than leaving the chassis to wallow on the E-Class’s factory-length travel. Owners running this on a C207 should feel the rear end respond more predictly to throttle inputs mid-corner, with less of the wallow that makes a heavy coupe hard to catch cleanly. The small-oil-hole valving inside each damper is there to manage flow precisely at those adjustment settings – on rough track surfaces you may hear a faint noise as oil passes through the restricted passage, which is a normal by-product of the drift-specific valving and not a fault.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover is built specifically for drift-discipline use, with a damper design aimed at keeping the car’s body settled while cornering at speed so the driver can hold a clean angle rather than correct for chassis movement. The 3-way adjustment knobs work through a deliberately small oil-hole design, which is what gives the drift-focused control feel but also means oil passing through that restricted passage can produce minor noise over track-surface bumps – expected behaviour, not a defect. Once the ride height is lowered and the bump stroke is set correctly, the kit is designed to bring drift control into what XYZ Racing calls excellent condition, meaning the car reacts consistently rather than unpredictably as speed and angle increase. It’s built for circuit-track use, where surface bumps are part of the environment the damper has to cope with, not something the setup is trying to iron out for road comfort.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe (2009-2017)

This kit is specced for the C207-chassis E-Class Coupe with the 6-cylinder engine, covering the 2009 to 2017 model years. Confirm your car matches the C207 6 CYL designation before ordering, as coupe-specific geometry differs from the saloon and estate variants of the same generation.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
