XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W204 4 CYL 4WD 2007-2014

The W204 C-Class came with a 4MATIC option most owners bought for winter grip, not for sliding – which is exactly why the ones that end up on a drift line usually have the front driveshafts pulled and the chassis rebalanced to run rear-biased. That conversion only works if the suspension underneath can hold an angle once you’ve committed to it, and that’s the job here: a coilover built specifically to keep the body settled through the transition from grip to slide, not just to lower the car.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec kit for the 4-cylinder W204 (chassis code ME41, 2007-2014) is built around that transition point. It’s aimed at competitive drifting rather than fast-road use, and every part of the spec – ride height, knob count, valving – is chosen to keep a rear-biased C-Class predictable at the limit rather than just stiff.

What this coilover does for your 2007-2014 Mercedes Benz C Class W204 4 CYL 4WD

Once the ride height is set with the correct bump stroke, the car settles into the angle you’re holding instead of pitching or wallowing mid-slide – a W204 running rear-biased has enough mass over the nose that body control through a committed drift is what separates a clean angle from a snap-back. The three adjustment knobs give you separate control over how the car reacts on initial lock, mid-slide, and on catch, so you’re not compromising one phase of the manoeuvre to fix another. Because this is a circuit-track-oriented spec rather than a road-comfort one, the damping is tuned to work best on the smoother surface of a drift course or skidpan rather than broken B-roads.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This is a coilover built specifically for competitive drift use rather than adapted from a fast-road platform. The valving and ride-height range are set up to stabilise the car’s body while it’s rotating at speed, so the chassis holds a clean, consistent angle instead of stepping unpredictably. Each unit uses a three-knob adjustment layout, giving separate control over the car’s behaviour at different points of a slide. The knobs work through a small oil-passage design, which under heavy bump loading can produce a faint noise as oil moves through – that’s a normal characteristic of this construction, not a fault. It’s built for circuit and drift-track surfaces, where this design is at its best.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W204 4 CYL 4WD (2007-2014)

Built for the W204-generation C-Class, chassis code ME41, 4-cylinder 4MATIC variant, covering the 2007 to 2014 production run. Confirm your specific C-Class matches this chassis code and drivetrain before ordering, particularly if your car has already had front-axle components removed or modified for a rear-biased conversion.

Spec your W204 for the angle you actually intend to hold – configure yours below.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
