XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — Mercedes-Benz C CLASS W203 4WD 2000-2007

The W203 C-Class’s 4MATIC hardware adds real mass ahead of the firewall – a transfer case and extra driveshaft the rear-drive cars never carried – and that shifts how the body moves through a transition. Pro Racing Drift Spec sets out to manage that shift directly: lowering the ride height and controlling bump stroke so the chassis holds a stable, predictable angle instead of wallowing into it.

This is a coilover built around circuit-track drift work rather than a fast-road compromise. Ride height drops enough to bring the centre of gravity down without erasing the suspension travel a W203 needs to absorb kerbs and mid-corner bumps, and the damping is set up to keep the car settled once the rear starts to rotate.

What this coilover does for your 2000-2007 Mercedes Benz C Class W203 4WD

Fitted to a W203 4MATIC, this coilover puts you in control of two things that matter most in a drift car: how quickly the body sets when you throw the weight forward into a transition, and how much support the rear axle has once the wheels are sideways. The three adjustment knobs let you separate compression and rebound behaviour front to rear, so you can soften the initial turn-in bite while keeping enough rebound control to stop the tail snapping back. Lowering the ride height brings the roll centre down and reduces the pitch you’d otherwise feel from the added weight of the 4MATIC driveline, and the bump stroke is calculated so the car still copes with kerbs and mid-corner ruts on a real circuit rather than a smooth pad. The result is a chassis that holds its line through a long drift instead of chattering or stepping out unpredictably.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically around competition drifting rather than adapting a road coilover for the job. The core idea is body control at the point where most cars lose composure – the moment of high-speed rotation – and the kit is calibrated to hold the platform steady enough that the driver can hold a consistent, repeatable angle rather than fight the car into one. Ride height is set low, but the bump stroke is calculated to match, so dropping the car doesn’t cost you the travel needed to keep the wheels loaded through a transition. Damping runs through three separate adjustment knobs, each metering oil through a deliberately small internal passage; that tight tolerance is what gives the precise, incremental control a drift set-up needs, and it’s also why you may hear a faint noise from the damper over larger bumps – a by-product of the small-passage design, not a fault. Because the whole kit is engineered around circuit-track use, that occasional noise on rough sections is expected and doesn’t affect how the coilover performs.

Fitment for the Mercedes Benz C Class W203 4WD (2000-2007)

This kit is built for the W203-generation Mercedes Benz C Class in 4MATIC (4WD) form, chassis code ME04, covering the 2000 to 2007 production run. Confirm your car carries the 4MATIC driveline before ordering, since the geometry and mounting points differ from the rear-drive W203.

  • W203 4MATIC coilover damping control tuned for consistent, repeatable drift angles
  • Mercedes Benz C Class W203 drift spec coilovers built for circuit track use
  • W203 ride height and bump stroke setup for stable weight transitions mid-drift

Every ME04 4MATIC fitment uses the same three-way adjustable core – configure your spring rate and ride height below to match how you actually drift the car.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
