The Civic SI HN25-10’s modified rear-integrated suspension setup changes what a coilover has to do on this chassis. The rear end isn’t running the standard Civic geometry – it’s a revised, integrated rear arrangement, and a shock that doesn’t match the Φ54 body diameter and mounting points is going to fight that hardware rather than work with it. That’s a normal characteristic of the oil-circuit design, not a fault, and it doesn’t affect how the damper performs on track. The kit is built around circuit use first, which is why the adjustment range leans toward stiffer, more controlled settings rather than a soft daily ride.
