XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Honda CIVIC SI φ54 (Modified Rear lntegrated) 2017-2026

A front-wheel-drive Civic Si launching off the line has one job working against it: the harder you accelerate, the more weight transfers away from the driven axle. Standard coilovers, road or track, are not built to fight that. The XYZ Racing Drag Racing coilover for the Honda Civic Si is a ride-height platform designed specifically to keep the front tyres loaded when the clock starts.

This is not a fast-road or circuit spring rate wearing a drag label. It is a dedicated 0-400m setup, built for the specific weight-transfer problem a front-driven Civic Si has that a rear-driven or all-wheel-drive car does not.

What this coilover does for your 2017-2026 Honda Civic Si

Set correctly, this kit changes how the Civic Si’s front-driven wheels load in the first metres of a run. Ride height front and rear is set to bias mass onto the transmission-driven axle at launch, rather than letting it transfer away as the car squats and accelerates. That extra compression on the driven tyres cuts the time they spend unloaded and spinning, which is where a front-driver typically loses a run before it has even left the line. The result on a 2017-2026 Civic Si is a shorter, more repeatable 60-foot time and a car that puts power down instead of surging and wheelspinning through first gear. Because the setup is purpose-configured for FWD weight transfer rather than a generic stiff spring, the rest of the chassis – steering response rolling into the shutdown, stability at the top end – stays predictable instead of nervous.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing builds this range specifically for 0-400m competition, and it is available in configurations for front-, rear- and four-wheel-drive platforms rather than one universal spring curve. The core idea is ride-height and damping tuned to the driven axle: front-biased on the Civic Si’s FWD layout, so the transmission’s driven wheels see greater tyre compression the instant the car launches. That compression is what shortens the idle, unloaded phase of the wheel at the hit and keeps the car settled as speed builds through the run. It is a chassis solution to a drivetrain-specific problem, not a general-purpose stiff coilover pressed into drag duty, and the front/rear balance is set up around how the Civic Si actually transfers weight under hard acceleration rather than how a rear-driven car does.

Fitment for the Honda Civic Si (2017-2026)

Built for the HN25-10 chassis Honda Civic Si covering the 2017 to 2026 model years, including the Modified Rr Integrated rear-end specification. Confirm your exact build year and rear-end configuration against your logbook before ordering, as the Civic Si’s platform detail changed across this run.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Iron top mountIronIRONIron upper mount — a heavy-duty housing built to take sustained load where a stronger top mount is required.
