XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — Honda CIVIC FC φ52 SEDAN/HATCHBACK (Modified Rear lntegrated) 2015-2021

The tenth-generation Civic FC brought a genuinely capable multi-link rear end to a mainstream hatchback, but the factory dampers were tuned for comfort, not for holding a line through a fast, cambered apex. Circuit Master coilovers replace that compliant factory setup with a monotube damper built for sustained lap-time work, where body control has to stay consistent from the first flying lap to the last.

On the FC platform’s Modified Rr Integrated rear geometry, ride height and damping both need to move together to keep the rear axle loaded correctly under trail-braking – a two-adjuster coilover that only does one of those jobs isn’t enough for a car that changes direction as quickly as this one does.

What this coilover does for your 2015-2021 Honda Civic FC Φ52 Sedan/hatchback (modified Rr lntegrated)

Independent ride height and damping adjustment means you can drop the FC’s centre of gravity for track days without pushing the dampers past their comfortable working range, then back the compression off again for the drive home. The 3-knob adjuster layout lets you set compression and rebound separately front to rear, which matters on a chassis where the multi-link rear can be made to rotate earlier than the factory geometry allows – useful for drivers who want to trim mid-corner understeer out of the Civic’s naturally nose-led balance. Braking stability improves too: with the correct damping rate under the front axle, the FC’s nose settles faster under trail-braking instead of continuing to dive as you turn in. Because the range spans thousands of individual click combinations, you can start conservative for a road-legal ride and progressively firm the car up as your track pace builds, without buying a second set of dampers.

About the Circuit Master coilover

Circuit Master sits at the top of the XYZ Racing range, developed off the same core hardware used in Racing Spec, Drift Spec and Tarmac Rally applications and proven across international circuit competition by XYZ’s own racing teams. The headline figure is the adjustment range: 9,720 individual combinations across the 3 damping knobs, giving a far finer window for finding a setting that suits both the car and the driver than a single-knob unit can offer. The valving inside uses a small-orifice oil-flow design tuned specifically for circuit surfaces rather than broken road tarmac – XYZ notes that on rough sections you may hear a faint noise as oil passes through the small internal channel, which is a normal characteristic of this valving rather than a fault. That trade-off is deliberate: the design prioritises consistent damping response lap after a full session over cushioning big road imperfections, which is exactly the brief for a dedicated circuit product. Construction follows XYZ’s monotube coilover format, built to take the repeated heat cycling of back-to-back track sessions without the damping falling off as the oil warms.

Fitment for the Honda Civic FC Φ52 Sedan/hatchback (modified Rr lntegrated) (2015-2021)
