The G21 Touring’s extended rear overhang piles extra mass over the back axle compared with the G20 saloon it shares a platform with, and in a drift car that difference changes how the rear steps out and how hard it is to catch once it does. XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover for the BMW 3 Series G21 is set up around that reality, aimed at controlling the estate’s added weight through the transition rather than simply dropping the car on lowered springs.
This kit spans the full G21 range, from 4-cylinder 320i and 330i cars through to the 6-cylinder M340i, and covers both the standard 2WD layout and the xDrive-equipped 4WD variants. The target is the same across all of them: a coilover built for competitive drifting, not fast-road comfort or outright track lap times.
What this coilover does for your 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series G21 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL
Drop the ride height correctly through the available bump stroke and the G21’s centre of gravity comes down, which sharpens initial turn-in and gives you a more predictable moment when you ask the rear to rotate. Three external adjustment knobs let you separate the damping circuits car by car, so you can soften the rear for a bumpy drift layout one weekend and firm it back up for a smoother circuit the next. Because the set-up is tuned specifically for stabilising the body through high-speed direction changes, you get a more consistent angle once the car is sideways, rather than a snap that’s hard to hold. On the estate’s longer wheelbase, that stability matters more than it does on the G21 saloon equivalent – the extra length works in your favour once the suspension is set to control it rather than fight it, whichever of the 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder engines sits up front.
About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover
XYZ Racing designed the Pro Racing Drift Spec range specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road or circuit coilover for the job. The core idea is body stabilisation: as the car turns at speed, the damping is set up to hold the chassis steady so the driver can find and hold a clean, repeatable angle instead of fighting an unpredictable rear end. Ride height comes down through the available bump stroke, and getting that drop right is what unlocks the level of drift control the kit is built around. Damping adjustment runs through three external knobs, and the internal circuit uses a deliberately small oil-passage design – a set-up that can produce a faint noise when the car crosses bigger bumps at speed. That’s a by-product of the small-passage damping circuit doing its job, not a fault, and it’s the kind of thing you’ll notice on a rough section of track rather than during the drift itself. XYZ Racing built this coilover for circuit track use, so bumps on a drift course aren’t something to worry about.

This kit is built to the G21 platform under chassis code BM108, covering the 2018 to 2026 production run. It’s specified for both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder G21 Touring models, and for cars in either the standard 2WD or the xDrive-equipped 4WD configuration – confirm your exact variant against the fitment chart before ordering.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
Top mounts included with your kit
Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.
Front
Pillow ball + rubberP+Pillow-ball upper with a rubber insert — adds steering precision and camber adjustability while keeping some of the factory mount’s harshness damping.
Hardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.
Rear
OE (factory) mountOERetains the OEM (factory) upper mount — preserves the original ride comfort, noise and vibration behaviour for a stock-like feel.
