XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES G21 (2WD/4WD) 4/6 CYL 2018-2026

Competitive drifting in a G21 Touring means working with a chassis that carries more weight over the rear axle than its G20 saloon sibling – the extra sheet metal and reinforcement behind the rear wheels shifts the balance rearward, which changes how the back end initiates and how long it holds an angle once you’ve committed. The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that reality: control the body through initiation and keep the car settled at the angle you’ve chosen, rather than fighting a chassis that wants to over-rotate or snap back straight.

This kit fits the full G21 range specified here – four- and six-cylinder, rear-drive and xDrive – and every one of them shares the same low-slung Touring body that needs to stay planted through the transition from throttle-off rotation into sustained angle.

What this coilover kit does for your 2018-2026 BMW 3 Series G21

Drop the ride height on the G21 with the bump stroke set correctly for the car’s kerb weight, and the Touring settles rather than pitches when you snap the wheel into transition. That matters more on this body than on the saloon: the extra mass behind the rear axle keeps moving after the front end has already committed to the new direction, and body control at that exact moment is what separates a held angle from a spin. Setting compression and rebound independently lets the rear stay composed through weight transfer instead of wallowing, and the lower ride height also drops the car’s centre of gravity, slowing how fast the body wants to roll into the outside corner while you’re holding the drift.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically for drift competition rather than adapting a road or track-day coilover to the discipline. The valving and spring rate are set up to keep the car’s body settled through the high-speed direction changes a drift run demands, so the chassis holds a clean, consistent angle instead of wandering or snapping back once you’re committed. Getting the ride height down with the bump stroke matched to the car is central to how the kit behaves – too little travel and the car bottoms out mid-transition, too much and body control goes soft exactly when you need it most. Set up correctly, this is what lets a driver hold a longer, more repeatable angle through a course instead of constantly fighting the car to stay sideways.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series G21 (2018-2026)

This kit fits the BM108 chassis – the BMW 3 Series G21 Touring built from 2018 to 2026 – across both the four-cylinder and six-cylinder engine range, and covers both rear-wheel-drive and xDrive four-wheel-drive versions of the car.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
