XYZ Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES F30 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) 2011-2026

Competitive drifting in a BMW 3 Series F30 asks the rear axle to hold an angle the factory suspension geometry was never built to sustain, and the exclusions on this fitment matter more than they look: no M-Technik chassis tune to work around, no xDrive front axle fighting the driver’s inputs, no factory EDC electronics second-guessing damper firmness mid-slide. What is left underneath is a straightforward, electronically unencumbered RWD platform, which is exactly the starting point a drift build wants.

The XYZ Racing Drift Spec coilover kit for this F30 4- and 6-cylinder range is built around that starting point. It lowers ride height, stiffens the chassis response, and gives the driver a platform that holds a set angle through initiation and transition instead of wallowing through the weight transfer.

What this coilover does for your 2011-2026 BMW 3 Series

Drop the ride height correctly and the F30’s centre of gravity comes down with it, which slows the body roll that normally fights a driver trying to catch a slide angle cleanly. The stiffer spring and damper combination reduces the pitch and dive that unsettle the chassis during the throttle and brake transitions a drift run is built from, so the rear axle stays loaded and predictable rather than snapping loose unannounced. Because this fitment excludes EDC cars, there is no factory adaptive damper logic to override or disable first; the coilover simply is the damping system on this build. On the 6-cylinder cars in particular, the extra weight over the nose makes that stability under high-speed direction change worth more than a straight-line lap time.

About the Drift Spec coilover

XYZ Racing built the Drift Spec line specifically for competition drifting rather than circuit lapping or fast-road use. The valving and spring rates are set up to stabilise the car’s body through high-speed direction changes, so a driver can commit to an angle and hold it rather than correcting a chassis that keeps moving underneath them. Ride height comes down as standard with this kit, and getting the bump stroke set correctly at that lower height is what actually sharpens drift control, not the height drop on its own. The result is a suspension platform built to help a driver find and hold a clean, repeatable angle through a course rather than one tuned purely for outright cornering grip. It is a specialist kit for a specialist discipline, not a general lowering kit dressed up for drift.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series F30 4/6 CYL (excl. M-Technik. xDrive & EDC) (2011-2026)

This kit is built for the F30-generation BMW 3 Series, chassis code BM75-1, across the 2011 to 2026 production run, covering both 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engine variants. It is not for cars specified with M-Technik trim, xDrive four-wheel drive, or factory EDC adaptive damping; those need a different fitment.

This suspension is designed for Drift race especially. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowing the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.
