XYZ Racing Pro Racing Drift Spec Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E92 4 CYL 2006-2011

The E92 3 Series coupe carries more length and mass over the rear axle than its E46 predecessor, and on the four-cylinder cars that weight sits further back in the chassis than most owners expect once you start loading the rear tyres sideways. Getting a big, sustained angle out of a 320i or 325i coupe means controlling body roll and weight transfer through the turn, not just breaking traction and hoping the chassis behaves.

XYZ Racing’s Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover is built around that exact problem. It’s a purpose-specific setup for the E92 aimed at competitive drifting, where the goal is holding the car’s attitude through a sustained slide rather than chasing outright grip.

What this coilover does for your 2006-2011 Bmw 3 Series E92

Lower the ride height correctly within the coilover’s bump stroke and the E92’s body control through transition changes noticeably – the car settles into a slide instead of pitching and wallowing as weight shifts rearward. That stability is what lets a driver hold a bigger, more consistent angle rather than constantly correcting for body movement. The 3-knob adjustment on this kit gives you a way to fine-tune compression and rebound independently as you find the balance point for a given track layout or entry speed, rather than living with one fixed compromise setting. For the four-cylinder E92, which carries less nose weight than the six-cylinder cars, that adjustability matters more, because small changes in front-end response shift how quickly the rear steps out on initiation.

About the Pro Racing Drift Spec coilover

This coilover is engineered specifically around drift use rather than adapted from a circuit-grip design. The valving and spring rates are set up to stabilise the car’s body while it’s turning hard at speed, so the driver can hold a clean, controlled angle instead of fighting an unsettled chassis. Once ride height is set correctly within the available bump stroke, the difference in how the car controls a slide becomes obvious against a standard or generic aftermarket setup. The 3 external adjustment knobs use a small-oil-hole internal design, which is a deliberate part of the tuning – on rough sections of track, that small passage can produce a faint noise as oil moves through it. That’s expected behaviour for this design, not a fault, and it’s a trade-off made in favour of the response the small-hole design gives you. The kit is set up with circuit-track use in mind, where surface imperfections are part of the environment the coilover is built to handle.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E92 (2006-2011)

Built for the four-cylinder E92 3 Series coupe, chassis code BM66, covering the 2006 to 2011 model years. Confirm your car sits within this build range before ordering, as suspension geometry and mounting points changed between 3 Series generations.

This suspension is especially designed for Drift racing purpose. With its special design, it helps the racers stabilize the vehicle body while in high speed turning in order to make a perfect angle. It can also enhance drifting performance. After lowering the ride height with proper bump stroke, you will realize how we made the drift controlling to the excellent condition.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
