XYZ Racing Circuit Master Coilovers — BMW 3 SERIES E36 COMPACT 4 CYL TI (Modified Rear Integrated) 1994-2000

The E36 Compact carries a rear axle the rest of the E36 range left behind: a semi-trailing-arm setup inherited from the E30, wrapped in a shorter wheelbase and hung off the four-cylinder Ti’s lighter nose. That combination changes how the car loads through direction changes compared with a Z-axle 3 Series – the semi-trailing arm geometry shifts camber and toe under compression in a way the multi-link saloons and coupes never have to deal with, and the shorter wheelbase makes the whole car quicker to rotate but far less forgiving of a soft, worn-out setup.

XYZ Racing’s Circuit Master coilover is built around sustained circuit lap-time work rather than a single fast lap or a drag-strip launch. For the E36 Compact Ti, that means addressing the trait above directly: control over how the semi-trailing arm’s geometry moves through a full session, not just a lower ride height and a stiffer spring.

What this coilover brings to your 1994-2000 BMW 3 Series E36 Compact

Damping runs through three external knobs, which on the Compact’s shorter wheelbase and semi-trailing-arm rear translates into genuine control over how the rear axle’s camber and toe shift as the car loads and unloads mid-corner. Ride height adjustment lets you correct the Compact’s factory stance and lower its centre of gravity without resorting to cut springs. Consistent, session-length damping keeps the rear axle’s geometry changes predictable from the first lap to the last, rather than drifting as the shocks heat up. The front end sharpens too – the four-cylinder Ti carries less weight over the nose than the six-cylinder E36 cars, so there’s less unsprung mass to control, and monotube construction responds to small inputs, like trail-braking into a tight hairpin, faster than the factory twin-tube dampers.

About the Circuit Master coilover

The Circuit Master sits at the top of XYZ Racing’s circuit-focused coilover range, and it’s the specification run by XYZ’s own competition teams internationally. Three external adjustment knobs combine to produce 9,720 distinct damping combinations, letting you separate compression from rebound and fine-tune each independently for a given circuit’s character. Each knob works through a small internal oil passage rather than a larger valve, and that passage is precisely why the shocks can tick over sharp bumps and expansion joints – it’s a by-product of the fine damping resolution, not a fault, and the kit is built with smooth circuit surfaces in mind rather than pockmarked B-roads. Monotube construction keeps oil and gas separate to resist fade across a long session, and the internals are the same ones validated on the tracks XYZ’s race programme actually competes on.

Fitment for the BMW 3 Series E36 Compact (1994-2000)

This kit is built for the E36 Compact chassis (BM20-1) across the 1994-2000 production run, covering the four-cylinder Ti model with the modified rear mount integration this fitment requires. Confirm your car sits within that build window before ordering, since the Compact’s rear end differs mechanically from the saloon and coupe E36 body styles it shares a nose with.

This is the best design, on the competitive version such as Racing Spec, Drift Spec, Tarmac Rally. This is the ultimate boutique for racing in many international athletics tracks, and test for a long time. This is for purchase handling high performance and the essential partner in different racing. Circuit Master Damper is tested through XYZ racing teams all over the world. 9720 ways of different adjustments can meet all customers’ needs and win the 1st place in every race.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
