XYZ Racing Drag Racing Coilovers — Peugeot 307 4D/CC/WAGON 2001-2008

Drag launches in a front-wheel-drive 307 live or die on how much load you can plant over the driven front tyres in the first few feet. The XYZ Racing Drag Racing coilover for the Peugeot 307 4D/CC/WAGON is built around that single problem: managing weight transfer off the line so the front contact patches bite instead of lighting up.

This is a 0-400 metre tool, not a fast-road compromise. The damping and ride-height settings are configured to shift weight front-to-rear through the launch sequence, forcing harder compression into the driven tyres and cutting the dead time spent spinning before the car hooks up. For a 2001-2008 307, whether you run the saloon, the CC or the SW, that means a predictable getaway rather than a smoky guess.

What this coilover does for your 2001-2008 Peugeot 307 4D/CC/WAGON

Off the line, the setup loads the front axle hard, so the driven tyres find grip sooner and the 307 leaves cleaner. Through the traps, the same settings hold the body stable at speed, where a softly sprung family hatch would otherwise float and wander. Ride height drops to lower the centre of gravity and tighten turn-in if you mix in the occasional grip session. Because the 307 CC carries extra mass at the rear from its folding hard top, the adjustable platform lets you rebalance corner weights to suit whichever body style you own. The payoff is a launch you can repeat with confidence rather than chase by feel.

About the Drag Racing coilover

XYZ Racing developed the Drag Racing coilover specifically for 0-400 metre acceleration runs, and the same core design spans front-, rear- and four-wheel-drive applications. The defining idea is dynamic weight management: the spring and damper settings let the car shift load between front and rear axles at the instant of launch, deliberately driving harder compression into the driven wheels. That extra compression presses the tyre into the surface, which reduces the idle time the wheel spends spinning before it grips. The benefit is twofold – a sharper, more consistent launch, and improved stability once the car is travelling at high speed down the strip. On the 307, with its driven front axle, that weight-shift behaviour is what turns engine output into forward motion instead of wheelspin.

Fitment for the Peugeot 307 4D/CC/WAGON (2001-2008)

This kit is matched to the Peugeot 307 on the PE08 platform across the 2001 to 2008 production run, covering the 4-door saloon, the CC coupe-cabriolet and the SW estate body styles. Confirm your exact variant and build year in the configurator before ordering, since corner weights differ between the lighter saloon and the heavier CC.

The coilovers are specially designed for 0~400 drag racing such as FWD, RWD or 4WD models. The setting allows vehicle to change the front and rear weight according to the transmission wheel in instant driving, and force the transmission tire having greater compression, which can reduce the idle time of wheel and improve the stability of the vehicle under high speed.
