XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Nissan MAXIMA A35 2008-2014

The A35 Maxima carries most of its mass over the front axle: a 3.5-litre VQ V6 slung ahead of the wheels in a full-size, front-drive four-door. That layout rewards a damper with enough travel and oil capacity to keep the nose settled when the surface stops being smooth. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover is built for exactly that brief – loose-surface work where wheel movement and damping consistency matter more than a low ride height.

This is a rally and rallycross damper at heart, running longer travel front and rear than a tarmac-circuit setup would. The extra stroke gives a bigger buffer before the suspension runs out of movement, which is what a heavy Nissan Maxima A35 needs as it loads and unloads over gravel, ruts and snow.

What this coilover does for your 2008-2014 Nissan Maxima A35

Fit this kit and the first thing you feel is control over big inputs. The long-travel valving lets the front wheels follow the ground instead of skipping across it, so the A35’s mass stays planted rather than pitching onto its outside corner. The larger oil and nitrogen-gas volume means the dampers hold their character through a long stage, instead of fading as the fluid heats up. Three-way adjustment lets you set the car softer for deep snow or firmer for hard-packed gravel, working with the Maxima’s front-drive balance rather than fighting it. The result is a big saloon that stays predictable when the grip is low and the surface is moving underneath you.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

The Pro Racing Gravel/Snow is engineered around long suspension travel front and rear, with a deliberately large reservoir of shock oil and nitrogen gas. That extra fluid and gas capacity is the core of the design: it keeps the damper stable and resists the oil temperature spike that exhausts a smaller-volume shock over sustained hard use. Adjustment runs through three knobs, each feeding a small-bore oil passage. Because that passage is intentionally fine, driving hard over big bumps can push fluid through it quickly enough to make a faint noise – this is normal behaviour for the design, not a fault. The whole unit is set up for rally, rallycross and rough-surface circuit running, where bumps and loose ground are part of the job rather than something to avoid.

Fitment for the Nissan Maxima A35 (2008-2014)

This coilover kit is matched to the A35-chassis Nissan Maxima built from 2008 to 2014, the front-wheel-drive VQ-powered generation. It is a direct application for that chassis code across the full year span. Confirm your model year against the 2008-2014 window before configuring.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.

Top mounts included with your kit

Every XYZ Racing coilover kit ships with the upper mounts listed below for your exact chassis — no extra parts to source.

Front

  • Hardened rubber top mountHardened rubberRHardened rubber upper — firmer than the factory bush for tighter response while retaining road-friendly noise and vibration isolation.

Rear

  • Aluminium top mountAluminiumAAluminium upper mount — a stiff, lightweight housing that locates the damper precisely and resists flex under load.
