XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow Coilovers — Mazda 323F ASTINA EUNOS 100 (TYPE1) 1989-1994

Gravel and snow stages punish a light, front-wheel-drive chassis like the early 323F, where the factory dampers run out of travel long before the surface stops moving. The XYZ Racing Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover for the Mazda 323F Astina / Eunos 100 (TYPE1) is built for that world: a long-travel, high-fluid-volume damper made for loose surfaces, not smooth tarmac.

This is a rally and rallycross spec rather than a circuit kit. The extra wheel travel front and rear keeps the tyres loaded over crests, ruts and frost heave, and the larger reservoir of oil and nitrogen gives the shocks something to lean on across a long stage.

What this coilover does for your 1989-1994 Mazda 323F ASTINA EUNOS 100 (TYPE1)

On loose surfaces the lightweight 323F tends to skip and unload its inside wheels; the longer travel here holds those tyres in contact for longer, so power gets put down out of slow corners instead of spinning away. The increased oil and nitrogen volume resists heat build-up, so damping stays consistent late in a stage rather than going soft as the fluid cooks. Three-way adjustment lets you firm things up for hardpack and gravel or back off for snow and deep ruts. The result is a car that stays settled and predictable when the surface is anything but.

About the Pro Racing Gravel/Snow coilover

XYZ designed this damper primarily for rally and rallycross use. It runs noticeably longer travel front and rear, which creates a bigger buffer distance and keeps the car stable when the suspension is working hard. The headline feature is fluid capacity: a larger volume of shock oil and nitrogen gas raises stability and stops the oil overheating and fading after extended, repeated hammering. Adjustment is handled by three knobs, and the small oil-passage design means a faint noise can occur as fluid moves through over the biggest bumps. That is normal behaviour for this construction, not a fault, and it is part of how the damper copes with rough ground.

This damper is mainly design for Rally Racing or Rally Cross. With longer travel for both front and rear, it increases bigger buffer distance to keep the car stable. The most advantages of this product is to extend the amount of suspension oil and nitrogen gas which can increase the stability of the shocks and prevent the shock oil temperature too high from being exhausted after long-term use.

Because its 3 adjustment knobs with small oil hole design, when driving through big bumps, the coilover oil will go through small passage which might cause some small noise. This is normal situation. This product is made for circuit tracks and there will be no concern for bumps on the tracks.
