XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Greatwall COOLBEAR 2009-2015

Gravel and snow stages are unforgiving to a tall, light front-driver, and the GR01 Coolbear is precisely that: a boxy, short-wheelbase compact that loads its outside front corner the instant the surface turns loose. The XYZ Racing Pro Rally coilover is built for that environment, swapping the soft factory struts for a competition setup that keeps the wheel planted over ruts, cambers and mid-corner compressions instead of crashing through its travel.

This is the top-flight rally specification, not a fast-road kit pressed into stage duty. It exists to give a 2009-2015 Greatwall Coolbear the ride height, control and surface compliance that loose-surface competition actually asks for, and it is offered in two build paths depending on how far you are taking the car.

What this coilover does for your 2009-2015 Greatwall Coolbear

On loose surfaces the gain is traction you can feel through the front axle: the damper holds the contact patch down where the OE strut would skip, so the Coolbear puts power down out of slow gravel hairpins instead of scrabbling. Ride-height adjustment lets you set the GR01 high enough to survive rough stages without bottoming, while the firmer rally valving reins in the tall bodyshell’s roll and pitch under braking. The result is a car that stays settled over jumps and corrugations and gives the driver a clearer read of what the front tyres are doing.

About the Pro Rally coilover

The Pro Rally is XYZ Racing’s dedicated gravel and snow rally suspension, a specialist competition item rather than a street coilover. It is configured two ways. The amateur build bolts straight to the original Coolbear chassis with no bodywork changes, so a privateer or club competitor can run it without cutting the car. The professional build is intended to be fitted after the body has been modified to accept it, freeing up the geometry and travel a fully prepared stage car needs. Both share the same rally-focused damping and height control; the difference is how much preparation the shell has had. Pick the configuration that matches your car’s level of build.

Fitment for the Greatwall Coolbear (2009-2015)

This kit is matched to the Greatwall Coolbear, chassis code GR01, across the 2009 to 2015 production span. Confirm your car’s chassis code and year against the listing before ordering, and choose the amateur or professional configuration to suit whether your shell is standard or already modified for rally use.
