XYZ Racing Pro Rally Coilovers — Ford MONDEO 2007-2013

The Mk4 Mondeo carries Ford’s Control Blade rear end on a long EUCD wheelbase that was calibrated for refinement at motorway speed, not for soaking up a loose gravel stage. The Pro Rally coilover exists to rewrite that brief. It is a competition gravel and snow setup, built to give a large front-drive saloon the travel, control and adjustable ride height it needs once the tarmac runs out.

This is rally hardware first and a road part second. On the FO14 Mondeo that means managing the bulk of a big family-class car through ruts, crests and off-camber loose surfaces, where a standard damper fades and standard ride height grounds out. Reach for the Pro Rally when the car has a stage entry in its future, not a school run.

What this coilover kit does for your 2007-2013 Ford Mondeo

Fitted to a 2007-2013 Ford Mondeo, the Pro Rally trades the standard car’s compliant, refinement-led calibration for height and damping you set yourself. Ride height comes up or down to suit gravel, snow or a graded forest road, so the long EUCD floor stops dragging over compressions. Adjustable damping keeps the heavy nose settled on the way into a loose corner, where the original struts would wallow and run the car wide. The outcome is a Mondeo that holds a line on a surface it was never sold to attack, with body movement reined in enough to keep all four tyres loaded and working.

About the Pro Rally coilover

The Pro Rally is XYZ Racing’s gravel and snow competition suspension, sitting at the top of the rally range. It comes in two build philosophies. The first bolts straight to the original chassis with no cutting or welding, which suits a privateer running an otherwise standard shell. The second is the full professional fit, designed to go in after the bodyshell has been modified to accept it, where reinforcement and strut-tower work is already part of the build. Both are loose-surface specifications, so the valving and travel are set for the impacts and constant weight transfer of a stage rather than the smooth inputs of a circuit. That distinction matters here: this is dedicated rally equipment, not a lowered road kit with a competition badge.

Fitment for the Ford Mondeo (2007-2013)

This kit is mapped to the FO14 Mondeo across the 2007 to 2013 model years, spanning the Mk4 saloon, hatchback and estate on the shared EUCD platform. Confirm your registration date falls inside that 2007-2013 window before ordering. As a gravel and snow competition setup, the professional version assumes the bodyshell has already been prepared to take it.
