Caliper render for this kit:

The AE20-generation Toyota WISH carries most of its mass over the front axle, so under hard braking the rears are the first corner to go light and the last to get any real attention. That balance is fine for a gentle commute and far less fine when a fully loaded seven-seater is hauling itself down a long descent or stringing together repeated stops in traffic. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit rebuilds the back end of the car around larger, cooler-running discs and an upgraded caliper, giving the rear axle the thermal headroom to actually contribute.
This is a rear-specific upgrade for the 2009-2017 WISH, built to pair with a front big brake kit or to firm up a stock-fronted car that runs out of rear bite when worked. Two-piece floating discs with a hollow-vane core trim rotating mass while opening up more surface area to shed heat, and the kit ships with a choice of pad compound so you can match it to how the car is actually used.
What this brake kit does for your 2009-2017 Toyota WISH (AE20)
On the road you feel it as a firmer, more progressive rear pedal that holds its bite when the brakes are hot rather than fading into a long, soft stroke. The hollow-vane discs carry less rotating mass than a solid equivalent, so the rear wheels are quicker to slow and quicker to recover between stops. Specify the Street compound for a daily WISH, the Sport compound if you press on down twisty roads or see the occasional track day, or the Racing compound if the car sees regular circuit time or hard descents where rear temperatures climb. Because the work happens at the back axle, the kit also sharpens overall brake balance, trimming the nose-dive and early front lock that a front-heavy MPV defaults to. The upshot is a seven-seater that stops straighter under load and feels far more composed when you lean on it.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from its disc design: a two-piece floating rotor whose faces are cast with hollow vanes that cut rotating weight while increasing the area available to vent heat. That matters most at the rear of a front-biased car, where the discs are smaller and recover more slowly between applications. It is a bolt-on rear assembly comprising disc, caliper and pads, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair for the AE20 WISH. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for harder use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Pads come in three compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware spans a school-run daily through to a car used hard on circuit. Faces can be drilled or slotted at the same price, and calipers are offered in the included Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, or premium polished-forged and candy finishes, so the visible hardware behind the wheel can be matched to the car or left understated. Each part is sized to the WISH rear hub rather than adapted from a generic kit, which keeps fitment clean and the geometry correct.
Fitment for the Toyota WISH (AE20) (2009-2017)
This kit is cut for the AE20 Toyota WISH built across the 2009 to 2017 model years and fits the rear axle only, supplied as a left-and-right pair. It is designed as a direct rear-hub fitment for that chassis, with no generic-bracket guesswork. Confirm your build year falls inside the 2009-2017 window before ordering, and pair it with a matching front kit if you want balanced upgrades at both ends.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
