Caliper render for this kit:

A loaded second-generation Tundra carries the bulk of its mass over the rear axle, and the 5.7 V8 hands you enough torque to reach speeds the standard rear discs were never asked to scrub off repeatedly. Hook up a trailer or fill the bed and those rear brakes spend long descents soaking up heat they struggle to shed.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Tundra V8 5.7 is aimed squarely at that problem. Larger two-piece floating discs and uprated calipers give the rear axle more thermal headroom and a firmer pedal under sustained load, so the truck stays settled rather than diving onto its nose when you haul it down from motorway speed.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra V8 5.7
The first thing you notice is a rear axle pulling its weight. With more rotor area and a hollow-vane disc shedding heat faster, the rear end resists the fade that creeps in on long downhill runs or when towing near the Tundra’s rated limit. Pedal feel holds consistent as the discs heat-cycle, which matters most on a heavy truck where late braking throws weight hard forward. Pad compound is your call: the Street set suits everyday running, the Sport compound bites harder from cold for fast-road use with the heat range for the occasional hard run, and the Racing compound keeps its friction at the temperatures a fully loaded truck generates. You can spec drilled or slotted faces at the same price, and choose a caliper finish from the included Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, or step up to a premium polished-forged or candy finish.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow Rear Brake Kit takes its name from the disc, a two-piece floating rotor with a hollow-vane core that cuts mass from the casting and routes airflow to keep the swept face cool. Less unsprung weight at the rear axle helps the suspension keep the tyres planted over broken surfaces, while the venting keeps the disc running cooler through repeated stops. The kit pairs these rotors with calipers sized for the Tundra’s considerable kerb weight, clamping a larger pad against a larger disc for steadier torque. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious use that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match friction level to how the truck actually works, from daily duties to heavy towing. Faces can be drilled or slotted, and the caliper colour spans the included Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, premium polished-forged and candy finishes, or any Pantone as a custom colour, covering the cosmetic side without touching the engineering underneath.
Fitment for the Toyota Tundra V8 5.7 (2007-2013)
This kit is built specifically for the rear axle of the 5.7 V8 Toyota Tundra across the 2007 to 2013 second-generation run, supplied as a left-and-right pair. Confirm your truck falls within the 2007-2013 span and carries the 5.7 V8 before ordering, since the fitment is tied to that drivetrain and chassis.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
