Caliper render for this kit:

The X90-generation Mark II arrived as a refined executive saloon, but the 1JZ-GTE cars quickly found a second life sideways, and that is exactly where the standard rear brakes run out of talent. This XYZ Racing rear big brake kit for the Toyota MARK 2 (1992-1996) swaps the soft factory rear setup for a stiffer, more thermally stable system built to take repeat heavy use without going vague.
On a rear-drive saloon that spends its life managing weight transfer over the back axle, the rear brake is not an afterthought. This kit, a left-and-right rear pair, gives you progressive, repeatable rear bite whether you are trail-braking into a corner or settling the car between transitions, with three pad compounds so you can match it to road or circuit duty.
What this brake kit does for your 1992-1996 Toyota MARK 2
After fitting, the first thing you feel on the Mark II is how much more linear the rear pedal becomes. The standard X90 rear brakes wash out under sustained load; the two-piece floating rotor design sheds heat faster and holds the pedal firm where the factory parts would already be fading. With Street, Sport and Racing pad options you can set rear bias to suit how you actually drive the car, from daily commuting to back-to-back circuit work. The extra thermal headroom also pays off in threshold braking on a nose-heavy straight-six saloon, where the rear axle is doing real work to keep things settled.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit runs a hollow-body caliper as standard, cast with internal voids that trim weight at the corner while keeping the housing stiff. It clamps a vented two-piece floating rotor that drops rotational and unsprung mass at the rear axle while opening up surface area for cooling. The result is a rear disc that recovers heat between applications rather than soaking it, the exact failure mode that kills standard pads on a hard-driven Mark II. The calipers clamp a larger, better-ventilated disc than the original equipment, and the assembly is sized to work with the front of the car rather than overwhelm it. Pad material is your call across Street, Sport and Racing compounds, discs come drilled or slotted at the same price with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells, and the painted calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged and candy finishes. A Hollow Racing caliper rated to 1000C is offered for serious track and drift use. It is a bolt-on rear upgrade for owners who use the car hard and want the back brakes to keep pace.
Fitment for the Toyota MARK 2 (1992-1996)
This kit is built for the X90-generation Toyota MARK 2 produced between 1992 and 1996, covering the rear axle of the rear-drive saloon as a left-and-right pair, including the 1JZ-GTE Tourer V cars that anchor the platform’s enthusiast following. Confirm your exact trim and existing rear brake arrangement against the options above before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
