Caliper render for this kit:

The JZS177 Crown Majesta carries its 2JZ-GE straight-six and full flagship luxury kit on a rear-driven S170 platform that Toyota tuned for hushed motorway cruising, not repeated heavy stops. That comfort bias leaves the standard rear brakes working hard the moment you add power, load the boot, or hold a spirited B-road pace. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit answers exactly that, replacing the factory rear setup with lighter two-piece discs and a larger caliper sized for the car’s considerable mass.
Fitted to a 1999-2004 Crown Majesta JZS177, this rear big brake kit restores the stopping authority a heavy rear-wheel-drive saloon needs once it is asked to do more than cruise. It is the rear half of a proper braking balance for owners running the 2JZ harder than the factory ever intended, and it pairs neatly with a matched front kit when you order.
What this brake kit does for your 1999-2004 Toyota Crown Majesta JZS177
The first thing you feel is rear-axle bite that no longer lags behind the front under hard braking, which matters on a long saloon that pitches forward under load. The two-piece floating discs pull heat out of the braking surface faster and trim weight from the rear corners, reducing both unsprung and rotating mass so the rear settles more cleanly into a bend. Pad compound is your call: the Street compound keeps the Majesta quiet and low-dust for daily VIP-style use, the Sport compound adds bite and heat range for fast-road work, and the Racing compound holds its bite through repeated stops on track or a fast mountain run. Caliper clamping is stronger and more progressive than the tired factory units these cars usually wear by now, so trail-braking the Majesta into a corner feels measured rather than vague. For 2JZ builds making well beyond the factory 217 bhp, the rear kit keeps braking honest with the added speed.
About the Hollow Big Brake Kit
XYZ Racing’s Hollow line runs a hollow-body caliper as standard, casting the housing with internal voids to shed weight from the corner without giving up rigidity. The kit pairs that caliper with lightened, vented two-piece discs that draw heat from the braking face and clear the gases that cause fade, so the rotor comes up to temperature quickly and stays consistent once hot. Three pad compounds are offered: Street for quiet road use, Sport for harder fast-road work and the occasional track day, and Racing for sustained circuit heat. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and centre-bell upgrades run to a two-tone finish in five anodized colours or titanium when you order. Calipers are finished as standard in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for £150, plus premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange options. Serious track users can step up to the Hollow Racing caliper, which drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Each component is sized for the rear axle of the JZS177 rather than adapted from another platform.
Fitment for the Toyota Crown Majesta JZS177 (1999-2004)
This kit is built for the rear axle of the JZS177 Crown Majesta across the 1999 to 2004 run, the 2JZ-GE, rear-wheel-drive flagship of the S170 generation. It mounts to the factory rear hubs and works as the rear pairing to a matched front kit. Confirm your chassis code reads JZS177 before ordering, as the V8 UZS Majesta variants use different rear geometry.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
