Caliper render for this kit:

The sixth-generation T200 Celica carries its 2.2-litre 5S-FE transversely over the front axle, which leaves the rear wheels doing the smaller share of every stop. That forward bias is exactly why the rear end repays attention: under repeated hard braking the standard rear setup heat-soaks quickly and the pedal starts to go long. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Toyota Celica 2.2 (2WD) tackles that imbalance with a larger, hollow-vaned rear disc that sheds heat faster and holds a firmer, more consistent bite.
This is a rear-axle upgrade aimed at fast-road and track-day use on the 1994-1999 Celica, where steady rear braking keeps the car settled into a corner rather than nervous on turn-in. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, pair it with a front kit and you restore the front-to-rear balance these cars start to lose once grip and pace climb past standard.
What this brake kit does for your 1994-1999 Toyota CELICA 2.2 (2WD)
The hollow-vane disc design trims rotating mass at the rear hub, which the Celica reads as slightly sharper response and less unsprung weight to control over kerbs and broken tarmac; the two-piece floating disc helps the dampers keep the rear tyres planted. Greater disc area and better internal venting keep the rears cooler across repeated stops, so the pedal stays high and predictable instead of softening after three or four hard laps. With the rear axle finally pulling its proper share, the car rotates more cleanly under trail-braking and feels more planted under heavy deceleration. The pad compound is yours to choose: Street for relaxed, low-dust road manners, Sport for a firmer everyday bite with the odd track day, Racing for sustained track temperatures.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The kit is built around a hollow-vane rear disc, vaned internally to draw air through the rotor and pull temperatures down during sustained use. The disc is two-piece and floating, with a lighter alloy bell to cut unsprung weight. It is a direct rear-axle big brake setup for the Celica, supplied with calipers and the mounting hardware to fit the chassis. The caliper body is hollow as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade that drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty for serious track use.
Pad material is a buyer choice across three compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware covers a road car, a fast-road build or a track-focused setup without changing the underlying kit. Calipers come finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone, premium polished-forged finishes in titanium, polished gold or polished silver, and candy finishes in teal, blue, red or orange. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be upgraded to two-tone anodized in five colours or titanium. The focus throughout is heat management and pedal consistency rather than headline figures, the parts of braking you actually feel once the rear axle is doing real work.
Fitment for the Toyota CELICA 2.2 (2WD) (1994-1999)
This kit is built for the 2.2-litre, two-wheel-drive Toyota Celica across the 1994 to 1999 model years, the front-drive sixth-generation T200 chassis. It fits the rear axle specifically and is sold as a rear kit, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair. Confirm your exact build year in the configurator before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
