Caliper render for this kit:

The 718 GT4’s mid-engined layout puts real weight over the rear axle, and on a sustained track session the back brakes work harder than most Cayman owners expect. This XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Porsche Cayman 718 (982) GT4 targets exactly that: rear-axle stopping power and heat management for a car that already leaves Weissach as a track tool.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six rewards a driver who carries speed into corners, which means trail-braking deep and loading the rear discs on turn-in. Fitted as a matched pair, the two-piece floating disc trims rotating and unsprung mass at each rear hub, sharpening the response you feel through the pedal and over kerbs on a 2019-2026 GT4.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Porsche Cayman 718 (982) GT4
Fit the Racing pad compound and the rear axle holds its bite through repeat heavy stops, where a road pad starts to fade after a few hard laps. The Sport compound keeps the same hardware civil for the drive home, with predictable cold bite and less dust on the wheels, and the Street compound suits quieter road miles. Because the lightened discs carry less rotating mass, the rear suspension settles faster over bumps and the car feels keener to change direction. You notice it most braking into a slow corner: a firmer pedal, more progressive modulation, and a rear end that stays composed as you bleed off the brakes and feed in throttle. For a GT4 that lives between fast road and circuit, that consistency is what separates a confident lap from a tentative one.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear-axle big brake upgrade specific to the Cayman 718 GT4, pairing a multi-piston caliper with a two-piece floating disc whose hollow internal vanes shed weight without surrendering thermal capacity, and whose floating mount lets the rotor expand under heat without distorting. That lighter rotating assembly cuts the gyroscopic and unsprung load each rear corner has to manage. Three pad compounds are offered – Street, Sport and Racing – so you can match the kit to how the car is actually used, from road miles to a full track-day rotation. Disc faces come drilled or slotted at the same price, and the centre bell can be specified two-tone anodized in five colours or in titanium. Calipers come in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Pantone Custom Color for £150, so the upgrade reads as deliberate behind the GT4’s wheels rather than an afterthought, and the optional Hollow Racing caliper – no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty – is there for cars that see serious circuit time. The engineering priority is repeatable rear braking under heat, with serviceable pads and a caliper sized for a car that genuinely sees circuit use.
Fitment for the Porsche CAYMAN 718 (982) GT4 (2019-2026)
This kit is cut for the 982-generation Cayman 718 GT4 across the 2019 to 2026 model years, fitting the rear axle specifically. It is matched to the GT4 variant rather than the wider 718 Cayman range, so the caliper and disc sizing suit that car’s brake geometry. Confirm your build year and trim against the 982 GT4 spec before configuring.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
