Caliper render for this kit:

The Vectra B’s nose-heavy front-drive layout leaves the rear axle doing the lighter share of the braking work, and on a well-kept CD that imbalance shows up first as a soft, early-fading rear under repeated stops. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Opel Vectra CD (1995-2002) puts a larger, vented rear setup behind the back wheels to claw that balance back.
This is a fast-road and touring upgrade rather than a circuit weapon. As a rear kit it is a matched pair of left and right calipers and two uprated discs. The aim is firmer, more progressive rear bite and stopping power that stays consistent whether the car is a loaded estate or a motorway-cruising saloon. Pad compound runs from Street through Sport to Racing, so you can set the rear’s character to match how the car actually gets used.
What this rear brake kit does for your 1995-2002 Opel Vectra CD
Behind the wheel you feel it as a rear axle that finally pulls its weight. The larger rear discs give the back of the Vectra more thermal mass, so brake feel holds up across repeated stops instead of going long and wooden halfway down a fast B-road. Pedal travel stays shorter and more predictable, which matters most when the car is loaded – a full estate or a saloon with four up shifts braking effort rearward, and a stronger rear copes with it. Picking the Sport or Racing pad compound sharpens initial bite and lifts the fade threshold, while the Street compound keeps things quiet and undemanding for daily driving. The included caliper finishes, from Red and Yellow to Gold, Black or Anodized Black, let the hardware look the part behind a set of open wheels.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a bolt-on rear-axle upgrade, named for the hollow-vane disc design that trims rotating and unsprung mass at the back of the car. Less weight behind the rear wheels means the brakes heat-soak more slowly and the suspension has less mass to control, which helps both stopping consistency and ride composure over poor surfaces. The kit pairs uprated two-piece floating rear discs with XYZ Racing calipers and braided lines, so the face stays flat and the pedal stays firm as heat builds. Pad choice is yours: Street for quiet, dust-light daily driving, Sport for harder fast-road work, and Racing for the most aggressive bite and heat tolerance. Calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated 1000C, two-year warranty) for sustained heavy use. Painted caliper colours are included free in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black; a Custom Color in any Pantone is +£150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange finishes available. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, and two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells can be specified at checkout. As a rear-axle kit it is meant to run alongside a matched front setup, so the car slows in balance rather than overloading either end.
Fitment for the Opel Vectra CD (1995-2002)
This kit is cut for the rear axle of the Opel Vectra CD across the 1995 to 2002 production run. It suits the CD trim of the Vectra B specifically, so confirm your build year falls inside that window before ordering. Check the kit against your existing rear wheel clearance, and choose your pad compound and caliper colour at the point of order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
