Available in 3 disc sizes — your kit ships in the size that fits your car:

The X-TRAIL T33 carries its mass high and well forward, and like most family crossovers it leans on the front axle to do the heavy braking. That works for a single stop. Ask the standard rear setup to cope with a fully loaded car, a caravan on the towball, or a long Alpine descent and the rear brakes start to fade while the fronts are already working hard.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Nissan X-TRAIL T33 (2021-2026) rebalances that equation. It is a rear-axle upgrade – a matched left and right caliper with two uprated discs – sized for the T33’s kerb weight rather than the modest rear discs Nissan fits as standard. It suits owners who use the car the way it was bought to be used: loaded, towing, covering distance, and wanting the brakes to stay consistent when the road points downhill.
What this brake kit does for your 2021-2026 Nissan X-TRAIL T33
Fit it and the first thing you notice is a firmer, more progressive pedal once the rear axle starts contributing properly to each stop. The hollow-vane disc sheds heat faster than a solid rear rotor, so repeat braking – the kind a heavy T33 generates on a motorway slip road or a steep descent – no longer pushes the pedal long. Choose the Racing pad compound and you get bite from cold and resistance to fade under towing duty; the Street compound keeps things quieter and lower on dust for the daily school run, with the Sport pad sitting between the two for harder road use. Because the kit targets the rear specifically, the car settles more evenly under hard braking instead of pitching onto its nose, which matters in a tall SUV that can feel unsettled if you brake mid-corner.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The kit is built around a hollow-vane disc at its centre, a two-piece floating rotor that trims rotating and unsprung mass while opening internal paths for heat to escape. Braided lines keep the pedal firm as the system heats, and the floating disc face stays flat under repeated load. Paired with a performance caliper, it replaces the standard rear brake on the X-TRAIL T33 with a setup built to hold temperature under sustained load. The kit is offered with three pad compounds – Street, Sport and Racing – so you can match friction level and noise to how you actually drive, from quiet commuting to repeated hard stops. Calipers are hollow-bodied as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated 1000C, two-year warranty) for serious track use. Painted colours are included at no cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black; a Custom Color in any Pantone is +£150, with premium polished-forged Titanium, Polished Gold and Polished Silver and candy Teal, Blue, Red and Orange finishes available too. Discs are drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable at checkout. Everything is specified for the rear axle of the T33 platform, which keeps the brake bias sensible and the fitment bolt-on rather than a fabrication job.
Fitment for the Nissan X-TRAIL T33 (2021-2026)
This kit is specified for the third-generation Nissan X-TRAIL, chassis code T33, covering model years 2021 to 2026. It is a rear-axle fitment (SKU XYZ-BRK-BKR-NI-032-REAR) and pairs naturally with a matching front kit if you want to upgrade both ends. Confirm your build year and rear wheel clearance before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
