Caliper render for this kit:

The Z33-generation 350Z carries its VQ35 V6 well forward of the axle line, and that nose-heavy bias shows up every time you stand on the brakes into a slow corner: weight piles onto the front tyres while the rear goes light and does less work than it should. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Nissan 350ZX Z33 (2003-2008) targets the back of the car specifically, giving the rear axle the thermal capacity and bite to earn its share of the stop.
This is a single rear-axle kit, a matched pair of rear calipers and two-piece floating discs, meant to be matched to a front setup so the whole car slows in balance rather than leaning on the front discs alone. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let it scale from fast-road use to circuit sessions, where rear brake temperature is the thing that quietly ends your pace.
What this brake kit does for your 2003-2008 Nissan 350ZX Z33
Fitted to the rear, this kit shifts brake balance backward where the Z33 wants it, which calms the front-end push you feel trail-braking into a tight corner. The hollow-vane disc design trims rotational and unsprung mass at the rear, so the back axle settles faster and the dampers have less to control. On track, the larger rear swept area shrugs off the fade that creeps into a stock setup over a session, keeping the pedal firm instead of long. Pick the Racing compound and the rear bites hard enough to brake later and help rotate the car on entry; the Street pad keeps cold bite and dust sensible for daily driving, with Sport in between for spirited road work. The included caliper colours, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, plus a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium finishes, mean the look is a choice, not an afterthought.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
XYZ Racing dimensions this rear big brake kit specifically for the Z33 chassis, pairing a hollow-bodied caliper with a hollow-vane two-piece floating disc that sheds mass without giving up rigidity. The hollow design helps the disc dump heat and keeps rotating weight down, which counts at the rear where every kilo of unsprung mass changes how the back of the 350Z behaves. The three pad compounds cover the real spread of how these cars get used: a Street pad for road, a Sport compound for spirited driving and the occasional track day, and a full Racing pad for sustained circuit work. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells selectable when you order. The caliper comes in the included no-cost finishes plus a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged and candy options, so the kit reads as a deliberate build choice. It is engineered to run as a set with a matching front kit, keeping front-to-rear bias sane across the speed range.
Fitment for the Nissan 350ZX Z33 (2003-2008)
This kit is built for the Z33-chassis Nissan 350ZX Z33 across the 2003 to 2008 model years, covering the run from the early cars through to late-production examples. It is a rear-position fitment, so confirm your front brake setup to keep both ends matched. Pad compound and caliper colour are chosen from the options above.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
