Caliper render for this kit:

The C167 GLE Coupe hides its mass well on the road, but physics does not care how composed it feels: this is a 2.3-tonne AWD body, and under hard, repeated braking from motorway speed the rear axle does far more work than most owners assume. The 53 AMG’s M256 straight-six and 48V boost make it quick enough to find the limit of the standard rears on a fast B-road or a single track session, and once the factory discs heat-soak the pedal starts to go long.
This XYZ Racing Rear Big Brake Kit for the Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG 4 MATIC C167 (2019-2026) is built to add thermal headroom at the back axle without upsetting the car’s front-biased balance. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and rear discs, it uses a two-piece floating disc to shed rotating and unsprung weight, and the pad compound choice lets you match the rear to how you actually drive.
What this brake kit does for your 2019-2026 Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG 4 MATIC C167
After fitting, the first thing you feel is a firmer, more consistent pedal that holds its bite as the discs get hot, the difference between a confident third hard stop and a soft one. The two-piece floating disc trims rotating mass at each rear corner, which sharpens turn-in and eases the load on the C167’s rear suspension. With three pad compounds to choose from, Street, Sport and Racing, you can set the rear up for quiet daily road use, spirited fast-road work with a wider heat range, or sustained track heat, all without changing the hardware. On a heavy 4MATIC coupe that leans on its brakes harder than any lighter saloon would, that extra rear capacity turns straight into braking confidence and keeps front-and-rear balance composed.
About the rear big brake kit
The kit is built around a two-piece floating disc: material is removed from the rotor’s internal structure to cut rotating and unsprung weight while keeping a large, vented swept area for heat management, and the ring can be drilled or slotted at the same price. It is a rear-axle big brake kit, engineered to complement a front upgrade or to restore balance on a car that punishes its rear pads in stop-start performance driving. Three pad compounds are offered: Street for quiet, low-dust road manners, Sport for harder fast-road use and a wider heat range, and Racing for repeated high-temperature track sessions, so the same caliper and disc can be tuned to the task. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty) for serious track use. Painted finishes are included at no cost in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black; a Custom Color in any Pantone is GBP 150, and premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) and two-tone or titanium centre bells are also available. The outcome is a rear brake package matched to the weight and pace of the GLE 53 AMG rather than a one-size fitment.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG 4 MATIC C167 (2019-2026)
This kit is specific to the rear axle of the C167-generation Mercedes Benz GLE 53 AMG 4 MATIC, covering model years 2019 to 2026. It is a rear fitment, so pair it with a matching front kit if you are upgrading both ends. Confirm your chassis code and build year before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
