Caliper render for this kit:

The W211 E 55 AMG hides a supercharged 5.4-litre M113K V8 inside a near-1.9-tonne executive saloon, and that mass has to be hauled down again and again. On a rear-drive AMG that squats under power and pitches forward into every braking zone, the rear axle does more thermal work than most owners credit, and the factory rear setup is usually the first thing to go soft once you start using the performance the supercharger gives you.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Mercedes Benz E Class W211 E 55 AMG (2003-2009) attacks that problem at the back corners. The hollow-vane disc design strips rotating and unsprung mass from the rear, while the upgraded caliper and pad package gives the rear axle the heat capacity to stay consistent through a long fast-road blast or a track session.
What this brake kit does for your 2003-2009 Mercedes Benz E Class W211 E 55 AMG
After fitting, the first thing you notice is a firmer, more progressive rear bite that holds the car steady under hard, repeated stops instead of fading halfway through. The lighter hollow-vane discs cut unsprung weight at the rear, which helps the rear dampers keep the contact patch settled over mid-corner bumps. Pad compound is your call: the Street option keeps things civil for daily driving, the Sport compound adds bite and fade resistance for committed road use and the odd track day, and the Racing compound is there for circuit work where rear stability under trail braking matters most. Because the E 55 loads so much weight onto a hot rear axle, that extra thermal headroom is what keeps the pedal from going long late in a session.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The kit is built around two-piece floating hollow-vane discs, lightened internally to reduce rotating mass without sacrificing the swept area a heavy AMG saloon needs. It pairs those discs with a performance caliper, hollow-bodied as standard, and a choice of three pad compounds: Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware suits a daily-driven E 55 or one that sees regular track time. Serious track users can step up to the optional Hollow Racing caliper, which drops the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Calipers come finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone shade and premium polished-forged or candy finishes for matching a particular wheel or paint scheme. Every part is sized specifically for the rear axle of this chassis and supplied as a matched pair rather than adapted from a generic fitment, so the front-to-rear braking balance stays sensible on a car that already works its front brakes hard.
Fitment for the Mercedes Benz E Class W211 E 55 AMG (2003-2009)
This is a rear-axle kit for the W211 E 55 AMG, built across the 2003 to 2009 model years and supplied as a pair of rear calipers and discs. It is designed for the supercharged E 55 specifically, so the disc sizing and caliper mounting suit the heavier variant rather than a lesser W211. Confirm your build year falls inside the 2003-2009 span before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
