Caliper render for this kit:

The GS 450h carries its hybrid battery and drive motor low and toward the rear, so a real share of the car’s mass sits over the back axle every time you brake from speed. This rear big brake kit from XYZ Racing targets exactly the part of the car the factory setup leaves most exposed: a heavy hybrid saloon asking its standard rear discs to shed energy they were never sized to handle under repeated hard use.
It is built for fast-road drivers and occasional track-day owners who want the GS 450h to stop with the authority its V6-plus-electric performance deserves. A two-piece floating disc with a vaned hollow core keeps rotating and unsprung mass down at the rear, so the brakes do their job without dulling the ride and steering the 450h was set up around.
What this big brake kit does for your 2012-2026 Lexus GS 450h
On a car this heavy, rear brake fade shows up as a long, soft pedal after a handful of committed stops; this kit gives the rear axle the thermal headroom to hold a firm pedal through repeated braking. Three pad compounds let you match bite and temperature range to how you actually drive: Street for quiet, low-dust motorway miles, Sport for firmer fast-road bite with a wider heat range, and Racing for back-to-back track sessions. The Racing compound copes with the heat that close to 1,900kg of hybrid saloon generates under hard deceleration, while Street stays clean for daily use. Because the rear brakes on the 450h work alongside the regenerative system, a consistent, predictable friction bite makes the hand-off between regen and pedal far easier to read, and braided lines firm the pedal by removing OE hose swell. Painted finishes Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black are included, with a Custom Color and premium options, so the kit suits a factory-look executive saloon or a more obvious build.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear brake kit takes its name from its two-piece floating disc with a vaned hollow core, which removes material to cut rotating mass without giving up the swept area a heavy saloon needs. Less weight at the rear corners means the dampers control wheel movement more easily, and the discs heat up and cool down faster between stops. Disc faces are drilled or slotted at the same price. The kit fits the rear axle as a matched pair and pairs uprated discs and calipers with a choice of three friction compounds: Street for a near-stock, low-dust feel, Sport for a firmer fast-road bite, and Racing for sustained high-temperature work. The caliper is a hollow-body forged unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade rated to 1000C and warranted two years for hard track use. Caliper finishes run from the no-cost painted colours to a Custom Color in any Pantone, plus premium polished-forged and candy options, so the look can stay subtle or stand out. Each part is specified around the GS 450h’s rear geometry rather than a generic disc and bracket forced to fit.
Fitment for the Lexus GS 450h (2012-2026)
This kit is specified for the rear axle of the Lexus GS 450h across the 2012 to 2026 model years and supplied as a matched pair. It is a rear-only big brake kit, so it pairs naturally with a matching front upgrade or sits behind the standard fronts as a rear-bias improvement. Confirm your exact model year before ordering, then set your pad compound, disc style and caliper colour from the options when you order.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
