The Honda FIT MK4 carries most of its braking load over the front axle, and its e:HEV regenerative system quietly handles a lot of routine deceleration, so the standard rear brakes rarely break a sweat in everyday driving. Start chasing lap times or hard B-road pace and that balance shows its limits: the rears run out of thermal headroom long before the fronts, and stopping distances begin to drift. This XYZ Racing rear brake kit goes straight at the back axle, with EPB-compatible hardware that keeps Honda’s electronic parking brake working as designed.
It is a pair of rear calipers and discs, left and right, that can be run on its own or paired with a matching front setup. The two-piece floating discs shed heat and rotating mass, while the choice of Street, Sport or Racing pad compound lets you match the kit to how you actually use the car, from a daily commute through to sustained track sessions.
What this brake kit does for your 2020-2026 Honda FIT MK4 (EPB)
Fit this kit and the first thing you feel on the FIT MK4 is a firmer, more repeatable pedal once the discs are up to temperature. The hollow-vane disc construction reduces rotating and unsprung mass at the rear, which sharpens how the car settles over rough surfaces and under braking. With the Racing pad compound, the rear axle holds its bite through repeated heavy stops instead of fading and leaving the fronts to carry everything. Step down to the Sport compound for a wider heat range on fast roads, or Street for quiet, low-dust road manners and gentler cold bite. Braided lines keep the pedal firm under heat. Because the kit is EPB-compatible, your electronic parking brake and hill-hold behaviour continue to operate exactly as Honda intended.
About the Hollow brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear big brake kit specifically for the Honda FIT MK4, rather than a universal part forced to suit. The discs are two-piece floating rotors, hollow-vane internally to trim rotating mass while preserving plenty of surface area to dump heat, the two things that matter most when a compact rear disc is asked to work harder than the factory ever intended. The hollow-body caliper, standard across the range, clamps a larger, better-ventilated rotor than standard, and the whole assembly is engineered around the MK4’s electronic parking brake so the EPB mechanism still functions. For serious track use a Hollow Racing caliper upgrade drops the dust cover, takes a 1000C rating and carries a two-year warranty. Three pad compounds are offered, Street for quiet daily manners, Sport for fast-road use, and Racing for track work, so the same hardware covers everything from a daily Jazz to a weekend track car. Calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a custom Pantone option and premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) or candy (Teal, Blue, Red, Orange) finishes, so the kit can sit discreetly behind the wheels or be made a feature of them.
Fitment for the Honda FIT MK4 (EPB) (2020-2026)
This kit is built for the Honda FIT MK4 fitted with the electronic parking brake (EPB), covering the 2020 to 2026 model years. The EPB designation matters: it confirms the hardware is matched to cars running Honda’s electronic parking brake at the rear, not an earlier cable handbrake. Check that your car falls within this year span and carries the EPB before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
