Caliper render for this kit:

The MK3 Focus carries its braking load up front, the way every front-drive hatch does, and the factory rear discs are sized accordingly: small, and quick to heat-soak once you start stringing corners together. The XYZ Racing rear big brake kit for the Ford Focus 2.0 GDI MK3 puts proper thermal capacity at the back axle, where the standard setup is the first thing to fade.
This is a balance upgrade as much as a stopping-power one. Supplied as a matched pair of rear calipers and discs, it gives more consistent rear bite, so the C346 chassis settles under trail-braking instead of going light at the rear, and the naturally aspirated 2.0 GDI’s weight loads more evenly across the tyres as you turn the front end into a corner.
What this brake kit does for your 2011-2018 Ford Focus 2.0 GDI MK3
On the road you notice it most as consistency: the rear no longer drops away after a run of hard stops down a B-road, and the pedal holds its travel. On a track day or a fast hillclimb that consistency is the difference between a stable car and one that needs constant correction at the back. Three pad compounds let you match the kit to use, with Street for daily driving, Sport for a harder-working fast-road car, and Racing for sustained track abuse where the factory rear pad would have glazed long ago. A full menu of caliper finishes, including custom Pantone, means the look behind the wheel spokes is yours to set.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing builds this as a rear-axle kit specifically for the MK3 Focus, not a universal disc dropped onto a generic bracket. The hollow-vane disc design named in the kit points to where the engineering effort sits: a rotor that sheds heat and trims rotating mass at the rear hubs, so the brake recovers between applications rather than soaking through a session. The disc is a two-piece floating design, offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, clamped by a caliper that is hollow-body as standard; for regular circuit time you can specify the optional Hollow Racing upgrade, which runs without a dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. The pad system runs three compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware spans a commuter and a car that sees regular circuit time without any change to the caliper or carrier. Painted calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium. Everything is sized and bracketed for the rear of the Ford Focus, so the upgrade bolts on rather than turning into a fabrication project.
Fitment for the Ford Focus 2.0 GDI MK3 (2011-2018)
This kit fits the Ford Focus 2.0 GDI MK3 across the full 2011 to 2018 run of that engine and bodyshell. It is a rear-axle kit, so it works alongside the standard or an upgraded front setup without disturbing front geometry. Confirm your exact build year in the options above so the carrier and disc match your hubs.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
