Caliper render for this kit:

The 488 GTB was the car that took Ferrari’s mid-engined V8 turbocharged, and with the bulk of its mass sitting behind the cabin the rear axle does a lot of work every time the car is loaded into a corner. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Ferrari F488 GTB is built around that reality, sharpening rear bite and tightening pedal feel when the car is asked to stop harder and more often than any road ever demands.
This is the rear half of a serious braking package, a matched pair of rear calipers and discs aimed at owners running track days or committed road miles who want to choose their own pad compound and brake feel rather than accept whatever the factory consumables deliver. On a turbocharged mid-engined Ferrari, getting the rear braking right is what keeps the back end settled into a heavy stop.
What this big brake kit does for your 2016-2026 Ferrari F488 GTB
After fitting, the most noticeable change is a firmer, more linear pedal that holds its character as the discs heat up through a session. Three pad compounds let you set rear bite for daily use, fast road or circuit duty: Street for quiet road manners, Sport for harder driving, and Racing for sustained track heat, so the F488 GTB rear axle bites consistently into trail braking instead of fading on the third or fourth heavy stop. With a full menu of caliper finishes, the kit also lets you set the look behind the wheels to match the rest of the car.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
The Hollow rear kit is XYZ Racing’s application-specific braking upgrade for the rear of the 488, supplied with mounting hardware matched to the car rather than a generic bracket. It is built around a two-piece floating disc, offered drilled or slotted at the same price and fed by braided lines, clamped by a caliper that is hollow-body as standard; the optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, rated to 1000C, two-year warranty) is there for owners running sustained circuit sessions. Pad choice is central to the package: the Street compound suits road use, Sport steps up bite and heat range for harder driving, and Racing is there for sustained circuit work where rear brake temperatures climb. Painted calipers come in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with any Pantone shade as a Custom Color for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged finishes (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver), candy finishes (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange), and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium, so the kit can be ordered to suit a discreet build or a louder one. Because it is a rear-only kit, it is designed to pair with a matched front setup for a balanced car.
Fitment for the Ferrari F488 GTB (2016-2026)
This kit is configured for the rear axle of the Ferrari F488 GTB across the full 2016-2026 production span. It is supplied as a rear-position big brake kit only, so the front brakes are specified separately. Confirm your exact build against the options above before ordering.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
