Caliper render for this kit:

A 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade tips the scales at well over two and a half tonnes, and most of that mass is still travelling forward when you ask the standard rear brakes to help haul it down. The factory setup copes with a single firm stop; it is repeat stops, a long alpine descent, a loaded trailer, a fast B-road, where the rear axle starts to feel vague and the pedal goes long.
The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit addresses that directly. It is a rear-axle upgrade for the GMT900-era Escalade, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair and built to add thermal headroom at the back of a heavy, body-on-frame SUV so the whole car stays composed under sustained braking rather than leaning on the front axle alone.
What this big brake kit does for your 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade
On a vehicle this size, rear braking is as much about stability as outright stopping distance. The hollow-vane rotor design sheds heat faster than a solid factory disc, which keeps rear pad bite consistent when you are working the brakes hard down a gradient or after towing. That means a firmer, more predictable pedal and a tail that stays planted rather than squirming as the rears heat-soak. Pad compound is your call: the Street option suits quiet, low-dust everyday Escalade duty, the Sport compound adds bite for spirited road and towing use, and the Racing compound is there if the car sees track or competition work. Cutting fade at the rear axle also keeps the brake balance honest and takes load off the fronts, so the full system lasts longer between heavy sessions.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing’s hollow brake kits take their name from the rotor itself, a two-piece floating disc with a hollow-vane braking ring designed to cut rotating mass while opening up internal paths for heat to escape. Less rotating weight at each rear corner helps the Escalade’s suspension settle more quickly over poor surfaces, the freer-breathing disc resists the heat build-up that fades a heavy SUV’s brakes, and the floating bell lets the ring expand under heat without distorting. This is the rear half of the system, engineered to balance against the front axle rather than overwhelm it. The kit comes with a choice of three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, to match how the car is actually used. The caliper is hollow-bodied as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade available for serious track use that removes the dust cover, is rated to 1000C and carries a two-year warranty. Painted calipers are finished in Red, Yellow, Gold, Black or Anodized Black at no extra cost, with premium polished-forged and candy options and a custom Pantone choice, discs offered drilled or slotted at the same price, braided lines included, and a centre-bell upgrade in two-tone anodized colours or titanium, so the hardware behind the wheels reads as deliberate rather than an aftermarket afterthought.
Fitment for the Cadillac Escalade (2007-2014)
This kit is cut for the Cadillac Escalade 6200cc across the 2007 to 2014 model years, the GMT900 generation running the 6.2-litre V8. It is a rear-position fitment, designed to bolt to the back axle of that chassis as a left-and-right pair. Confirm your exact year and trim against the options above before ordering so the rotor and caliper hardware match your car.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
