Caliper render for this kit:

Stopping a near-two-tonne F01 flagship from autobahn pace is a thermal problem before it is anything else, and the rear axle of a long, rear-drive BMW saloon carries more of that load than most owners expect. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the BMW 7 Series F 01 addresses the back end specifically: more thermal mass and a lighter rotating assembly where the factory setup starts to lose bite on repeated heavy stops.
This is a rear big brake kit built to match the car’s grand-touring brief rather than fight it. Pad compound runs from Street through Sport to Racing, so a 730d daily and a hard-driven 750i can each be set up to suit, without the rear axle becoming the weak link when you are leaning on the brakes for real.
What this brake kit does for your 2008-2015 BMW 7 Series F 01
The first thing you feel is consistency. The F01’s mass means the rear pads work harder than the chassis lets on, and fade creeps in long before the discs look distressed; the added thermal capacity here keeps pedal feel steady when you haul the car down from speed more than once in quick succession. The hollow-vane two-piece disc trims rotating and unsprung mass at the rear, and its floating construction lets it expand under heat without warping, which sharpens how the back axle settles under braking and over mid-corner surface changes. The three pad compounds let you bias the rear toward quiet, low-dust road manners with the Street pad, a wider heat range with the Sport pad, or maximum heat tolerance with the Racing pad, so the front-to-rear balance stays where you want it. Caliper colour is yours to choose behind the large-diameter wheels these cars wear.
About the Hollow Rear Brake Kit
The Hollow name refers to the disc construction: material is removed from the internal vanes to cut rotating mass and open paths for heat to escape, which matters on a heavy car that generates plenty of it. This is a rear-specific kit, supplied as a matched left-and-right pair of two-piece floating discs with braided lines and brackets designed around the F01’s rear hub and the packaging behind its factory wheels. Three pad compounds are offered, Street for quiet, low-dust feel, Sport for firmer everyday bite and a wider heat range, and Racing for the highest heat tolerance, so the kit can be specified for daily use or harder driving without changing hardware. The caliper is a hollow-body unit as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing version rated to 1000C and a two-year warranty for serious track work. Included painted finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone and premium polished-forged and candy options above that. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, and two-tone anodized or titanium centre bells are selectable. Because the spec is configurable rather than one-size, the kit is set up to the use you actually have in mind.
Fitment for the BMW 7 Series F 01 (2008-2015)
This kit is built for the F01-generation BMW 7 Series across the 2008 to 2015 model run and mounts at the rear axle. It is a rear-only kit, designed to complement the front brakes rather than replace the whole system. Confirm your exact chassis and wheel fitment before ordering, since the F01 spans several engine and wheel combinations.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
