Caliper render for this kit:

The G22 4 Series carries more mass than any 4 Series before it, and on a circuit the rear axle pays for it. Heat builds in the standard rear discs faster than most owners expect, especially with xDrive shuffling torque rearward on corner exit. The XYZ Racing Hollow Rear Brake Kit for the Bmw 4 Series G22 (2WD/4WD) tackles that directly, adding thermal capacity and bite at the back axle where the factory setup runs short on repeat stops.
This is a rear-specific upgrade for 2020-2026 cars, a pair of left and right rear calipers and matched two-piece floating discs, sized to balance a front big brake setup or to firm up rear braking feel on an otherwise standard car. Pad compound runs from Street through Sport to full Racing, so the kit can be specced for a road car that sees the odd track day or for a dedicated circuit build.
What this brake kit does for your 2020-2026 Bmw 4 Series G22 (2WD/4WD)
Fit the kit and the first thing you notice on the road is a firmer, more progressive rear pedal. The larger rear discs give the system more surface to shed heat, so feel stays consistent as the brakes warm. On track the gain is repeatability: the standard G22 rear setup fades under sustained trail-braking, and the xDrive cars in particular load the rears hard out of slow corners, where the extra thermal mass keeps the bite from washing out. Specced with the Racing compound, the rear axle holds torque deep into the braking zone, steadying rotation rather than letting the nose run wide. Sport adds bite for fast-road work with occasional track use, while Street keeps daily manners, quieter, lower dust, friendly cold bite, for cars that mostly see the road. Caliper colour is your call across the included painted finishes, Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone available, so the upgrade reads through the wheel spokes the way you want.
About the Hollow rear brake kit
XYZ Racing’s Hollow rear kit is the brand’s lighter take on a rear big brake upgrade, a pair of left and right rear calipers and matched two-piece floating discs that trim rotating and unsprung mass at the back axle. The headline decision is pad compound: Street for OE-style quiet road behaviour, Sport that adds bite and heat tolerance without turning the car into a noisy, dusty commuter, and Racing built for sustained high-temperature work on circuit. All three run in the same caliper, so you can change the car’s character with a pad swap rather than new hardware. The caliper body is hollow as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use, no dust cover, rated to 1000C and carrying a two-year warranty. The caliper is finished in one of the included painted colours, with a Custom Color in any Pantone available, and the kit is engineered specifically as a rear fitment, designed to sit behind a matching front setup rather than act as a standalone solution. Discs come drilled or slotted at the same price, with centre-bell upgrades selectable at checkout. It is a focused upgrade: more rear thermal headroom, more adjustability through pad choice, and a cleaner look behind the wheel.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
