Caliper render for this kit:

The E92’s rear multi-link axle and near-neutral balance are what make the 325 coupe feel so composed on turn-in, and they are also why the rear brakes work harder than most owners expect once the pace lifts. The XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Bmw 3 Series E 92 325 (OE185) addresses that directly, adding thermal capacity and bite to the back axle of a 2007-2011 coupe whose factory rear discs were only ever sized for the N52’s modest road-going brief.
This is a rear-specific upgrade, a pair of rear calipers and a pair of two-piece floating discs, built either to balance a front big brake kit or to stop the standard rears overheating during repeated hard stops. With pad compounds running from Street through Sport to full Racing, it covers everything from a fast-road straight-six coupe to one that sees regular circuit time.
What this brake kit does for your 2007-2011 Bmw 3 Series E 92 325 (OE185)
The biggest change you feel is pedal consistency. A larger rear rotor carries more thermal mass, so the back axle resists the fade that flat-spots stopping power and shortens braking zones after a few hard laps. On a rear-drive E92, stable rear braking also keeps the car settled when you trail the pedal into a corner, rather than the tail going light as the rears wash out. The three pad compounds let you match heat range to use: Street for quiet, low-dust daily duty, Sport for spirited road work, Racing when the car lives on track. Painted caliper finishes, from Red and Yellow through Gold to Black, mean the upgrade looks deliberate behind an open wheel.
About the rear brake kit
The kit pairs an uprated two-piece floating disc with a performance caliper sized for the E92’s rear hub, raising both rotor diameter and swept area over the factory part. The floating ring expands on its alloy bell to stay flat under heat, and the focus is heat management: more material and better airflow give the rear axle somewhere to put the energy of repeated stops without boiling fluid or glazing pads. The hollow-vane disc face can be specified drilled or slotted at the same price, with a two-tone anodized or titanium centre bell as a checkout upgrade. The kit is offered in three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, so the same hardware spans road and track use without recalibrating the whole car. Painted caliper colour is included across Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black, with premium polished-forged, candy and Custom Pantone routes. The caliper is hollow-cast as standard, with a Hollow Racing upgrade for serious track use. As a rear-axle kit, it is engineered to complement a front big brake setup and restore front-to-rear balance once the front end has been upgraded.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
