Caliper render for this kit:

The F46 Gran Tourer carries mass most enthusiasts’ cars never see: a third row, a deep boot, and the rearward weight bias that arrives the moment seven seats are filled. Under braking that load presses down on a rear axle BMW calibrated for a lighter, emptier car, and on a long motorway descent or a loaded run to the airport the standard rear setup is the first component to feel it.
The XYZ Racing rear brake kit for the Bmw 2 Series F 46 answers that directly. It gives the rear axle more thermal headroom and a firmer, more consistent pedal, so the F46 stops the same on the tenth stop as it did on the first, empty or fully laden.
What this brake kit does for your 2014-2026 Bmw 2 Series F 46
The change you notice first is pedal consistency when the car is working hard. A larger rear disc and a stiffer forged caliper resist the fade that creeps into a heavily loaded MPV on repeated heavy stops, so braking effort stays predictable instead of going long and soft. The pad compound is yours to set: the Street compound suits everyday family use, the Sport compound adds bite for quicker road driving, and the Racing compound is there if the car sees occasional track or sustained high-speed work. On a front-drive chassis like the F46 the rear handles less of the total braking, so the real gain here is balance and stability under load, with the back axle pulling its share rather than leaning entirely on the front.
About the Rear Brake Kit
The rear kit pairs an upsized two-piece floating disc with a bolt-on forged caliper sized for the F46’s rear hub, supplied as a matched pair of left and right rear units. The greater swept area and increased thermal mass give the assembly more capacity to absorb and shed heat, which is what keeps response steady across a sequence of stops; the hollow-vane disc comes drilled or slotted at the same price, on braided lines. The caliper is hollow-body as standard, with an optional Hollow Racing upgrade (no dust cover, 1000C rated, two-year warranty) for harder use. Three pad compounds, Street, Sport and Racing, let you match the kit to how the car is genuinely used, from the school run to spirited road work. Included painted caliper finishes are Red, Yellow, Gold, Black and Anodized Black at no extra cost, with a Custom Color in any Pantone for a small upcharge, plus premium polished-forged (Titanium, Polished Gold, Polished Silver) and candy (Candy Teal, Candy Blue, Candy Red, Candy Orange) finishes, and two-tone centre bells in five anodized colours or titanium at checkout. It is a kit built to raise braking capability without unpicking the everyday manners that make the Gran Tourer usable.
Fitment for the Bmw 2 Series F 46 (2014-2026)
This kit is specified for the F46-chassis BMW 2 Series, covering the 2014 to 2026 model years, and mounts to the rear axle. Check your exact wheel size and clearance against the kit specification before ordering, as big brake hardware can affect the minimum wheel diameter that will clear the caliper.

Choosing your spec
Every kit is built to order around the choices you make above. Here is what each option actually changes, so you can spec yours with confidence.
Brake pads — Street, Sport or Racing
Every kit ships with a full set of high-performance pads; the compound is your call.
Street is the right default for fast-road driving — a strong, progressive cold bite with low noise, low dust and long disc life. Sport raises the working temperature and adds bite and fade resistance for hard road use and the occasional track day, while still behaving on a cold morning. Racing is a track compound built for sustained abuse: huge fade resistance and bite once heat is in it, at the cost of more noise and dust when cold. Match the pad to how hard you actually use the brakes — there is no benefit to a race pad that never gets up to temperature.
Caliper grade — Hollow vs Hollow Racing
Hollow is the standard caliper on every kit: a hollow-body forged caliper, lighter than a solid one, fitted with a dust cover and backed by a 5-year oil-leak warranty. For most fast-road and spirited track use it is all the caliper you need.
Hollow Racing is the track-grade upgrade. It runs the same hollow body but without a dust cover (so there is nothing to melt at sustained high temperature), uses a twin-metal piston that isolates heat travelling from the disc to the oil seal, and is rated to 1000°C. Available 330–356mm (rear). Warranty is 2 years on oil leaks and 10 years on appearance. Built for professional racing and repeated track days.

Caliper colour & finish
Painted colours (Red, Yellow, Gold, Black, Anodized Black) are included at no cost. Want an exact match to your car? Custom Color (+£150) paints the calipers to any Pantone code you supply (15–20 day lead time).
Polished Forged finishes are the flagship: a forged caliper given a mirror-polished surface treatment that shifts colour with the viewing angle. Beyond the looks, the polished surface dissipates heat better, resists rust and stands up to the weather. Choose Titanium (neochrome, +£350), Polished Gold (+£300) or Polished Silver (+£250). They look their best paired with a titanium centre bell. Care: clean only with a dilute neutral cleaner or water.
Candy colours (+£200) use a deep candy-paint and polishing process for a mirror-reflection, boutique finish — pick Teal, Blue, Red or Orange (shown below right).

Centre bells
The centre bell is the CNC-machined aluminium hat that joins the disc to the hub. The standard anodized centre bell is included. The Two-tone bell (+£200) adds an anodized accent ring — choose Red, Yellow, Orange, Purple or Silver right here at checkout. The Titanium centre bell (+£500) is a forged titanium bell (bolts not included) that finishes off the polished-forged look.
